Jenna needs well wishes

mummy2girls wrote: Well again my sweet angel has a bad cough. It came on so suddenly. I put her to sleep at 830pm and around 1am i heard her wake up. I gave her a bottle and she fell back to sleep but 2 minutes later she started to cough. It was a normal cough but then it started to sounds hoarsy. I went back in and she upchucked in her crib. So i took her out rubbed her back and then layed her on my bed and proceeded to pitch the tent. I put the humidifier in there and stuck jenna in there and she fell back to sleep and slept till i had to wake her this morning.

I cant believe she has another bad cough and cold. No fever though. I dont think its croup because its doent sound like a seal bark. It sounds sharp and flemmy. I am going to make an appointment with her pediatrician this week and take her in. Its crazy that she keeps getting like this. And she of course is still congested. I hope its not asthma or the start of asthma. My sisters daughter has it. And a friend of mine has a 14 month old and he was congested from day one and when he went for his 1 year appoinment he was put on an inhaler....UGH!!!

Anyways....ill go now and stp rambling

My 2 sons (6&3) have asthma/allergies, and seeing a pediatric specialist has helped them immensely. If Jenna consistantly coughs and gets URI symptoms it might not be a bad idea to take her to a pediatric pulmonologist. It is amazing what they can do now for children with asthma & allergies. Good luck!
