Jakob - almost got it

boyohboyohboy wrote: I was so excited last night, I thought yeah we are finally breaking into new ground...i cant wait to share this news!

he was eating 2 bowls of spag. and eating it, swallowing it! and had only taken pediasure at night for the last three nights, not during the day at all, so that maybe he was getting an appetite!
so i was so thrilled and we made such a big deal out of it..he would take a bite then run around the house and come back for more...

then this morning i went to put my shoes on, and guess what was inside!!

spag in your shoes is gross, its not more padding contrary to popular belief! wacko.gif

Just to reassure you a little. Katherine is 5 and she was in the 3rd percentile for her weight until a couple of months ago when she jumped to the 5th! dry.gif

Anyway, yesterday she had a carnation instant breakfast, 4 fish sticks, about a half cup of ketchup, 4 broiled shrimp, and a little bit of broccoli. I sent an apple and cheese stick with her to school for snack but I can never really know if she eats those or just tosses them.

some days are better than others but I swear she was 4 before she actually finished everything I put on her plate...then she didn't eat again for 3 days. growl.gif

also, keep in mind that they only need 1 T of each food per year of age. so, if for example he's 2 and he's eating 2T of peas, 2 T of meat at dinner then he's actually pretty good.

Oh Stacy, I was getting so happy reading that and then BOOM - the laughter started. What a little jokester he is! I wonder if he thought you knew about the shoes and he was being rewarded for that?? We'll never know what lurks inside the mind of a 2 year old!!!
