Jade's first day of school... - pics

I noticed she was wearing flip flops. I'm jealous - Kylie's school won't let them -- it's against dress code. I guess so they won't get hurt. They can wear them if they have a back band on them. 
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Yeah I didn't see anything about no flip-flops. This time a year everyone is running around in them here.
Well I picked her up at 2:30 and she said she really liked school. She can't wait to go tomorrow.

I did. I was terrified actually, but once that first day is behind you it gets better. Jade brought home an outline of her hand that she traced and colored for me. They call it The Kissing Hand. It's on my fridge and is the first official thing made for me by one of my kids. It's all so bittersweet, but she is really happy about going to school.

That is an awesome book! My sister gave it to me when O started Kindy. I highly recommend it!!!
So glad her first day went well. It is amazing how quickly it all becomes "old hat" routine
