Jeanne, he's not shy at all because he will talk to anyone and everyone but does have a weird nervousness around some people (especially girls). he will still chatter away but you can see his discomfort and how much he wants to impress that other person. i feel for him at those times.

Ed, the kid is eating me out of house and home!!! i cannot understand how he eats as much as he does and not be 300lbs! i fear his teen yrs!!

Take from experience... You're going to need the GNP of some small island nation to cope with his teen years... Oh yeah, and despite the fact that he'll be two fisting a sandwich and an apple he will complain daily that there's nothing to eat in the house.
