It's nice to be appreciated

MomToMany replied: That positive feedback sure makes you feel good, doesn't it? I don't get much of that for doing stuff around the house, hardly a "thank you", but I know I'm appreciated . It makes you feel SO much better for doing all that hard work!

While we are on the subject of praise, I just wanted to add that what you and Rod have done creating and keeping up this board is wonderful. You both have your hands full with your beautiful little Ashley and your business, but still make time for us. It is like an online family of many great people and we wouldn't have the support we do if you both didn't bring it all together for us. Some of us didn't really have anyone to ask advice, vent to, or share our milestones with... and now we do.

So Thank You DeeDee and Rod!!

We do web design, database development, custom applications... basically any kind of programming. I just do the web stuff... the web design and HTML. I also do most of the on-going maintenance to existing web sites. And, I handle new sales, manage current clients, do the billing/accounting, and anything else that needs to be done. TLCDad does all of the higher end programming, manages our servers, and the database work.

Some of the web stuff we do is purely programming because some of our clients are ad agencies... they do the design and we do the programming. However, I do some web design for other clients. I don't have any formal graphic design training... I am learning as I go. I just finished a web site which I did everything -- planning, concept, layout, design, and HTML. It isn't "live" yet and is still in the approval process, but here is a screen shot of the homepage:

MommyToAshley replied: Aweee, shucks. Thank you everyone... it is REALLY nice to hear such compliments from all of you. Especially when I feel like they are not well-deserved. Sometimes I feel I am lettting you all down and taking too long to get stuff done for Parenting Club, but unfortunately work has to come first. And, of course I have to get that quality time in with Ashley. So, I think it is all of you that really make this place special. I have received so much more in return from meeting all of you!
