PrairieMom wrote: I can't believe it I am so excited! I have these HUGE old lady bunnions on both my feet, they are totally gross. I have always had them, since i was a child, and my feet have always hurt me. I haven't been able to wear flip flops because A)my feet are hideous and B)the pain is excruciating I have back pain related to all this too, so a few times a week I wake up in pain hardly able to breath because of it. Well... the pain has been getting worse and worse and now there is a spot on the bottom of my foot where it feels like I am just walking on bare bone all the time, it is so uncomfortable, so I FINALLY got u p the guts to go see someone, and I have a surgery scheduled for Oct 14 to have both my feet fixed at the same time!!!! this is SO big you guys. I am finally going to have pretty feet! I have never had a pedicure before, maybe i will get one for christmas...
sparkys2boys replied: LOL.. yahhhhh for you!!! Umm, what was the pain on the bottom of the foot from? I am asking because I think I may have a heel spur I can walk on my foot all day and not have it hurt but as soon as I stop I have this spot on the bottom of my foot that KILLS me and I cannot put any pressure on it for along time. And when I wake up in the morning I have to limp because my foot hurts so much. I am to chicken to go to the doctor to get it looked it in case he says I need surgery..lol

mom21kid2dogs replied: Yeah Tara!!! Can't wait to see those pretty painted tootsies!!!
mom21kid2dogs replied: I'l bet you do. I got them from time to time and they are very painful, especially after sleeping. My uncle told me to take a ton of extra Calcium daily and they will go away. He said his doc told him to try it before resorting to surgery. I tried it and ~wella~all gone!
PrairieMom replied: because of the way that I walk to compensate for my bunions my pinky toe bone that runs the length of the bottom of my foot is starting to be pushed down towards the floor. I told the Dr that it feels like I am walking on bare bone, and basically, that is what is happening, its pusing into a nerve. apparently it is because I should have had my feet fixed a long time ago, but didn't, so this is just things getting worse.
A&A'smommy replied: yikes, thats awesome I bet you can't wait!!!!
