outside here it's 99 going up to 102. inside we finally turned on the AC a month or so ago and it's a cool 75.

I would LOVE some thunderstorms. It'd cool us down a little! I'm surprised we haven't seen very many. Although Thursday it POURED all evening.
(btw I'm in Ohio about 10 min off the IN border, 25 min north of I70)

well if it's hot like it is pretty much everywhere. Just leave your windows down for a few hours (not in the rain of course) and it should dry out quickly. Smell w/probably go away too.

Seriously, it's so humid here it's gross. It may not be quite as hot, but it still sucks!
I noticed, when I go outside coming from the AC I immediatly get condensation all over b/c it's so humid.

ETA: Shawn just got back from San Deigo Sat. While he was there and I was on the phone with him he was sitting out by the pool and it was 73 w/ no humidity.  I told him where he could go. LOL

I remember when I was younger and living at home. Our rooms upstairs didn't have AC so what we'd do is put a sheet up over the windows to make the room dark. Then we'd wet down a pillow case and put it over the fan and get a cool breeze that way.

Its not bothering me as much as I guess it should be but after this summer I will be in 75 degrees all summer long

I must say when we went up to Indy the weather was BEAUTIFUL ... and then I came back to another 100+ week in beautiful SOUTH CAROLINA

I was planning to take my girls on a walking tour tonight, but it is much too hot to even step outside. Our a/c is past its prime and is not kicking out much cool air, it stays hot in this house until 10/11 o'clock at night.

I just steam cleaned the inside of my car and I am DRENCHED in sweat. It feels good inside, I think its about 75.
MommyToAshley replied: I don't know what our actual temp is here, but I heard on the radio that the heat index is 110. I was going to take Ashley swimming, but it is raining now... hopefully that will cool things down a bit.

Normally the AC doesn't kick in unless the house is warmer than 22 C... (72F)

It's really hard too because Nichole's school (where she teaches) starts back tomorrow so we started having the babies again everyday this week and it's just too hot to go outside or do anything. Not to mention we're having our bathroom remodeled so there are workers in and out all day and naptime's all messed up and it's just icky.
Connor wanted to play baseball this evening at about 6 before his dad picked him up and we weren't out there two seconds before he was sweating, I was all sticky and we had to turn around and come back inside.
It's even too hot for swimming...
