So, I call my mom, who has to take time off work to go home, get HER spare keys, then come get me.
Now I am at kindermusik, and all the other mommies are wondering why my kid is running around in just a wet diaper. While explaining the whole agonizing situation, (in my animated way, with arms flying) I put my hands into my pocket, and guess what? I had my keys the whole time.
So, now I have to quick call my mom before she leaves work, and explain to her that I am a complete idiot.
Then I have to call my dad, and explain to him that I am a complete idiot.
Then my sister calls me, from 2 time zones away, because she had already heard that I am an idiot, just to laugh at me.

Ugh.

I'm sorry to laugh, but if you weren't so closely involved in the situation I am sure it would be funnier to you. It's ok that your sister called to laugh at you, but no way can you let your DH find out.

oh yeah, they all knew. They were all there listening to the story, and I was so animated, that really people in the next county knew. I get a bit worked up sometimes.
