Ithe worst day ever. - You can't even know...
PrairieMom wrote: So, this morning on the way to kindermusik I locked my keys in the car. Dh is out of town with my spare. SO, I call my dad to see if he can bring me MY spare, only to remember that he doesn't have my house key, and can't get at my spare anyway. At this point I am walking through the parking lot with Al, and she falls into a huge water puddle, soaking herself through to the diaper, and my purse, with her diaper bag is where? in my car. So, I call my mom, who has to take time off work to go home, get HER spare keys, then come get me. Now I am at kindermusik, and all the other mommies are wondering why my kid is running around in just a wet diaper. While explaining the whole agonizing situation, (in my animated way, with arms flying) I put my hands into my pocket, and guess what? I had my keys the whole time. So, now I have to quick call my mom before she leaves work, and explain to her that I am a complete idiot. Then I have to call my dad, and explain to him that I am a complete idiot. Then my sister calls me, from 2 time zones away, because she had already heard that I am an idiot, just to laugh at me.
Ugh.
Kaitlin'smom replied: sorry your having a ruff day.

DillsMommy replied: Yikes! It'll get better! Good thing so many people have spare keys though. I only have ONE key, not even a spare. I would be SOL.
PrairieMom replied: At least I can see the humor in it now. I am such a twit.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I hate days like that! I hope the rest of the day got better!
bawoodsmall replied: Only one way to go and thats up. Hope it gets better...sounds like something I would do.

MommyToAshley replied: I'm sorry to laugh, but if you weren't so closely involved in the situation I am sure it would be funnier to you. It's ok that your sister called to laugh at you, but no way can you let your DH find out.
Hope your day gets better.
kimberley replied: sorry for laughing but it is kinda funny. hope ur day got better.
gr33n3y3z replied: Sorry I know its not funny but it is in its own little way
My2Beauties replied: I'm so sorry but I have to , because it seriously sounds like something I've done before.
Nina J replied: That sucks.
When you found the keys, did you tell the people around you that you found them? I would've not told them, lol.
A&A'smommy replied: I'm sorry you had such a bad day but omg I had to giggle a little bit.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: OMG I actually laughed out loud. Sorry you had such a rough day. Sounds like something I'd do too. I'm glad you can laugh at it now!
PrairieMom replied: oh yeah, they all knew. They were all there listening to the story, and I was so animated, that really people in the next county knew. I get a bit worked up sometimes.
Jackie012007 replied: oh jeeze! that is rotten, sorry you had a bad day!
Boys r us replied: Oh Tara...I'm so sorry you had a rough day! But it did give me a chuckle and only because it is TOTALLY something I would do!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I'm sorry. I have to laugh. But only b/c I have DONE that!!! And guess what? Ever since then I've had a car with a key pad on the door. DH doesn't trust me.

redchief replied: BTDT as well. I've become quite adept at breaking and entering into my car. The local police just give me their slim jim without asking why... they already know. I'm glad no real harm came, save your pride.
Calimama replied: I've done something similar.
mommy~to~a~bunch replied: Sorry your day sucked Tara. I've been an idiot at times too, it's something no one can avoid. Glad you can laugh about it now though.
