punkeemunkee'smom wrote: It is getting crazy here-TOO MUCH rain! It has to stop! It is becoming bad for everything....This is my yard right now. The calves pen is flooded the yard is flooded and everything else around is too. We have moved them to the last piece of dry ground available-I think they may need floaties!

The back of the yard

This is what it looks like dry.....

A rainbow the other day-so at least He still promises not to wash it all away!
luvbug00 replied: wow! and yet the thought of cows in floatation devices is just soo cute
punkeemunkee'smom replied: LOL! Nadia I told Tay to go get her Ariel floaties
Calimama replied: It looks fun to play in!
punkeemunkee'smom replied: It would be awesome except we have fireants-they flaot on water and attach whatever comes by to get them out of it so you get bitten like crazy
A&A'smommy replied: you live in Texas right?? I think I'm remembering right
My best friend lives in Texas and she says the rain is driving her CRAZY I keep telling her to send it to us we are probably about 6 or 7 inches away from being out of the "drought"
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Yep we are in Texas. It is crazy! We are about 14 inches OVER rain fall for this month alone and about 20 degrees cooler than the norm i NEVER thought I would complain about a cool summer but this is INSANE!!!!!
A&A'smommy replied: yeah I keep complaining that its hot and she is complaining about the rain lol.. she says it feels good outside but the mosquitoes are HORRIBLE.. she says there are times when she will literally get about 15 times from going outside ONE time but then again it doesn't matter what the weather is or where we are at we both get ATE up by mosquitoes even when no one else is getting bit anyway those are crazy cool pictures but omg that would drive me insane also!!!
Boo&BugsMom replied: Awwww. The animals have a sad look about them. Like, "what the heck is up with this rain!".
Calimama replied: That would kill my fun!! Ya know, the flooded field makes me miss Texas.
CantWait replied: That sure is a lot of rain.
Kentuckychick replied: Wow that is pretty insane!
We are definitely on the opposite end of the spectrum here though. The temps have been above average and we're somewhere around 10 inches below avg. for rainfall this year.
We had a nice storm yesterday but it didn't do enough.
MotherForever2043 replied: Wow, that IS a lot of rain That sure is a pretty rainbow
sparkys2boys replied: Ok and I thought we were gettin alot of rain here WOW is all I can say. Do you guys have a swimming program for the cows there..lol??
redchief replied: Please send us some rain. We could use it!
punkeemunkee'smom replied: We are usually in a perpetual drought but this year has broken that for sure! You can bet if I could pack it up it would be on the way to ya'll! My dad is up by you and he was telling me just the other day how dry and hot you have been! Feast or Famine right?
redplaydoh replied: We've had tons of rain here in Switzerland too. My BIL's house (lower level and garage) even flooded. We're WAY above average for rainfall amounts. Much cooler too... we have a few nice days of 90+ temps then it bottoms out for several days where we're lucky to reach the low 70's.
I just washed the kids clothes and had half summer stuff and half fall stuff to put away. Crazy!
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: We could use more like 60 to end our drought. It's been going for over 5 years here. We could use some of that up north, Abby. I've got fires surrounding town.
redchief replied: It seems to be so.
