It is almost that time... - ARRGGHHH!!!!

C&K*s Mommie wrote: It is almost swimsuit season! Well, not really, but there really is nothing that makes me feel worse about myself then the thought that AGAIN this yr, I WILL NOT buy one!! To see them in the stores already, only makes me feel badly that I did not lose weight over the last few months. dry.gif dry.gif I guess one good thing can come of this: I do not obsess over my weight, at all. rolleyes.gif Even after seeing cute two pieces that I will never again get into! sleep.gif

rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif Oh well...... rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

fashionmumofboys replied: From the group picture you posted, you look great Nicole. I'm sure you would look just great in a two piece, so I would say go for it.

coasterqueen replied: Ahhh, it's not too late to strive to get into a swimsuit wink.gif. That's my goal. I want to get into the two piece I bought JUST (weeks) before getting pg with Megan. I will never wear a bikini type, my frame is too big, but the two piece that hide the tummy, I can do that.

YOU CAN DO IT but ONLY IF YOU TRY wink.gif hug.gif

MyLuvBugs replied: I feel the same. I was totally into loosing weight to buy a sexy little bikini this year, and get some size 8 shorts.....But then I found out I'm PG, so that got shot....Oh well. There's always next year, right?!?! smile.gif

CosmetologyMommy replied: Even if I lost weight I can't wear one because of my freddy kruger looking stretch marks!!!!!!!!!!! puke.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
lol - they can't get much worse then mine... here's a piic of while i was pg this time:

CosmetologyMommy replied: wow, it seriously looks like you took a pic of my stomach!

luvmykids replied: Aah, the classis swimsuit symphony. It's all about feeling good, being comfortable in your own skin wether you're showing a little or a lot. If I got on the ball maybe I could get into a two piece but I'm enjoying feeling good too much to worry about it!

KingMom replied: Wow! that looks like my tummy too! No two peices for me smile.gif Well I'm PG again so that's out anyway!

All my friends that had babies around the time I did don't have stretch marks like I did, I was beginning to think I was the only one that had them like this!

CosmetologyMommy replied: Has anyone else's metabolism changed since having kids?

Hillbilly Housewife replied: pretty bad, eh? lol

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
Heck ya. I could eat a 12 inch sub and ice cream for breakfast, a huge lunch and fatty mc-fried food for dinner, and not gain an ounce.... now, even water makes me gain. rolling_smile.gif

CosmetologyMommy replied: me too I gain so quickly now. Other people I asked say that their metalbolism is faster. Does anyone know why metalbolism is slower after children.

C&K*s Mommie replied: That is a good question for people that had fast ones to begin with. I could only wish that mine was fast before my PG's. Since I was 20 or so, and around the time I started dating Chris 8 yrs ago, I have gained and gained and gained. The sad thing is that at one time I wanted to look like a girl in a class I took in junior high~~ she was round like a (teddy) bear, and I wanted to gain weight to look like her!! laugh.gif laugh.gif

luvmykids replied:
Mine is much faster now. I don't know if it's from them running me ragged or what.

CantWait replied: I'm with ya there sad.gif I keep seeing these cute little suits that cost a pretty penny, and everytime I see it I say "if I could fit into those again, I'd pay that pretty penny" sad.gif

3xmommy replied: I have always had a fast metabolism... and kept it even after three kids. I'm not exactly totally healthy though and that probably helps as far as low weight goes... I actually need to gain a bit. I am 25, have three kids, I am 5'2 and weigh 95 1/2 pounds.

I see the swimsuits but I cant wear em either... I got stretch marks from hades and the skinniest knobbiest knees EVER.

huggybugboy replied: Ha! Move up here where I live. There is no swimsuit season! wink.gif

CAMSMOM1 replied: I know it's going to take me a lot longer than a few months for me to go swim suit shopping! More like 2 summers from now, but then I'll probably be pregnant...so maybe 5 years I'll get into a swimsuit again? rolling_smile.gif

Rocky, I think your strech marks are fair compared to mine! I wish I could post my pg belly picture...you'd be loving your stomach if you saw mine! rolling_smile.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
maybe - but the darn things are on my arms, my boobs, my thighs, and my butt too.

it would need to be a bathing suit from yje 1940s to cover me.... rolling_smile.gif

MamaJAM replied: Swim suit season doesn't scare me......I wear a baggy t-shirt and long shorts over my suit! tongue.gif And I only ever put on a suit if we go on vacation.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Well in my town, we still have maybe 5 months before bathing suit season, so I think there is time to make it your goal. Where do you live again? I'm in search of a good maternity bathing suit as a matter of fact...my problem is that the manufacturers of maternity wear all think PG women have huge breasts! Sorry, not here, so finding a bathing suit top that fits is pathetic! bawling.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
Really? the one I have (which was NOWHERE close to fitting me properly.... lol) was alright on the belly, but my boobs were flattened.

When I got it, I was at 165 pounds, and it was a bit tight averywhere (I was like 6 months pg) and definitely too tight on my boobs. I only wore it 3 times or so... it's cute. i could post a pic if you're interested... it's blue (mostly) and white, and it's like a littlle dress.

scattytart replied: i didnt put much weight on during prenancy, but my streach marks are horrid and i dont think ill every wear a 2 peice bathing suit again unless i have surgery lol, but when your a mum it's hard to go do drastic things like that biggrin.gif ( pregnancy= lovley children horrible bodys everything going south, so unfair, as my mum says "what do you expect all your looks have gone to the babies"lol) rolling_smile.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: I already have my suit! laugh.gif It is a 2 piece tankini style so it covers all the horrid stretch marks. I bought it for $3 on clearance at the end of last season but I still have to lose probably 10-15 lb for it to fit properly.

holley79 replied: Nicole I got depressed in Wal Mart seeing all the cute new bathing suits. Guess I will be heading back to weight watchers VERY soon. You look great girl.

C&K*s Mommie replied: TY.. Holley! blush.gif

Reading the posts from some of you ladies about their strecth marks, made me remember mine. I totally forgot I had them! blink.gif So no matter what I do, about losing this excess weight, I am thinking I really will never be getting into a one piece again~ so I can hang up the two piece dream!! All because of these darn puke.gif stretchies... dry.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: D'oh! Sorry Nicole!!

rolling_smile.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied:

they are unsightly blink.gif .... I am happy that I forgot about them!! thumb.gif
