Isabella's new thing - Does anybody's toddler do this also

booey2 replied: Thomas did this around the same age Isabella is now. He still will lay down on the floor and grab a pillow and go to sleep if he is really tired. His latest trick now is to get his bottle, and grab a pillow and lay beside me on the couch til he passes out.

Kaitlin'smom replied: so I have this to look foward to? Right now I have to put her in bed when she is really ited, nad usually she will go right to sleep. I will love it when she does this it will be all to cute!

amynicole21 replied: Sophia has been doing this recently, too! She doesn't usually end up falling asleep there, but she lay down until she is on the verge of sleep, then crawl onto our laps and zonk out. It sure takes a lot of time off of the bedtime ritual for us!

ediep replied: no way...that is adorable, Jason will go to sleep in his crib or stroller and occasionally the car, but thats about it;

My2Carebears replied: Angel has done that forever. Thats how we always know its nap time or bedtime. Lately she will just lay on the floor and go to sleep at night. She has been so easy with going to bed for awhile now!!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Awwwww! How sweet! What sweeties you all have! Maddie used to do that, but she is pretty hard to get down for a nap these days. Occasionally I will catch her curling up with blankie in the floor and passed out.

MommyToAshley replied: AWWEEEE!! When I was PG with Ashley, I imagined my sweet little girl falling asleep on the floor while playing with her toys.

But, that just isn't Ashley -- she is sweet, but she will keep on going until we tell her it is time to go to sleep. She's always been one that hated to go to sleep. It only takes a minute to get her to sleep once we put her in bed, but if we don't put her in bed and tell her it is nightime then she would go until she literally passed out. We were at MIL's house one night and let her stay up and it was 1:00 AM and she was still going strong. I don't think I want to find out how long she could last... she could probably outlast me!

However, every now and then she will fall asleep in the car, but not often. She likes to dance to the music, sing, and play games in the car so she even occupies herself in her carseat. LOL

paradisemommy replied: i think ashley is taven's long lost sister... he is the exact same way..he could keep going forever but as soon as i ask him "taven, you want mumm mumm?" he turns and looks at me and smiles and says "mumm mumm" and will bee-line for the bed (where i nurse him)..but if i didn't ask him, he'd just keep right on messing everything up!!
