Is this normal? - Period-like blood

AnnasMom replied: Yeah, he said that it's normal. What I didn't post in my original post is that they hurt like crazy and that they come out in clots. I don't know if that's normal.

I had put a post on here about having a period and still be pregnant. All the ladies said it was normal, just like your doctor had said. But usallly it will be from the beginning of your pregnancy, not all of a sudden type of thing. What worries me is that you are having painful cramping.

ITA with everyone, I would go straight away to Labor and Delivery, if your doctor isn't in. I would request an ultrasound, and blood work. (Which they should do for you anyways)

Kelly, IdahoBoo, is a OB/GYN nurse, and if she thinks you should go, then I have to agree with her on that. Cramping and heavy bleeding/clotting isn't normal at your stage of pregnancy.

Please let us know what you find out, I will hold you and your baby up in prayer.

Actually, Jacobsmama is a OB/GYN nurse. I work in a hospital lab. But I still think you need to be seen, STAT.
