Is this going to be your last baby?

lovemy2 replied: DONE, but was too afraid to have the tubal done during my c-section for Dylan - DH or I have to make a move now - I am BC pills but don't want to be much longer since I am 37.....

We'll see where time takes us though. I've thought about adoption, or even fostering.

boyohboyohboy replied: this will be our 3rd, and we are so done. I am getting older, and it seems each pregnancy gets harder and harder, and just the financial and emotional toll kids take, we want to do our best by the ones we have..

hoosier momma replied: I only have one, but I am done. We based our decision of lots of reasons and just feel one is the best for us. My husband does have two children from a previous marriage. They are grown now and we have a granddaughter that is just a little bit older than my son.

Boo&BugsMom replied: Aiden will be our last. Two is enough in this world for a middle class family with our situations, so we will be done. Two boys is plenty, esp. when they get bigger!!!

3xsthefun replied: I wasn't plan on having the tubal done at first. But I will be having another c-section so I thought I'd just have them done. I am scared to death thinking about having it done though.

But I know financially we can only handle three kids. Besides I don't think I could mentally handle anymore children or pregnancies.

That is great for those that plan to have more children though. I do hope you all get have more.

mummy2girls replied: im not done! I defenitly want at least one more, i would even have 3. Marcus wants one of his own and then he said he would even love a second( third to him because he thinks of jenna as his own).

BUT~~~ after how bad the pregnancy has been (morning sickness wise) I just don't know, I think after this one we'll quickly have one more then be done, but we aren't going to do anything permanant since we are still in our early 20's and may change our minds someday.

Brias3 replied: We've been discussing this very subject in my house lately. After my miscarriage in October, I've had a rough time of it and have went through feelings of REALLY wanting another and really NOT wanting another.

I think we have ultimately decided to call it quits now- our family is perfect how it is. We've been discussing Bruce having a vasectomy so we'll see.

DillsMommy replied: I'm really not sure. Tom says he's going to take care of it and get snipped, he says he doesn't want anymore after this one. Somedays I feel like two is enough, but somedays I think it would be nice to have a third. I'd hate for him to have it done and then regret it and in 3 or 4 years decide we really want another one. It just seems so final to have any procedure done so I'm trying to talk him out of it.

HuskerMom replied: I'd love to have a really big family. My cousin has 7 kids and I wouldn't be surprised if they had a few more. I would like to have 2 or 3 more. Trying to convince Dh of that is hard. He said he wants another son which would be great but I really want a daughter too.

Cece00 replied: I had a tubal during my c-section with our 4th baby (Jack), so we're done. Part of me wanted more kids but knew financially and time-wise 4 was enough. I always wanted a big family (I'm an only child) and while 4 is a big family, I thought it would be neat to have more. But, on the other hand, I'm not really SAD we arent having more, I just thought it would be neat to have more. But overall I am very satisfied with the 4 we have. So we're done

Danalana replied: I'm obviously not done but I would love to have at least 2. I am an only child, so I want a play mate for the first one. I would even like 3, but i'm 33 now...i'm not sure 3 can happen, unless there are twins involved. Gosh, I hate the time factor!

Nina J replied: I don't think so. DH and I have said that after 40, no. And I'm not going to be 40 for a few years, so if we can get pregnant again, then we will have another. But if we don't get pregnant, then no. We have discussed it and when Lily-Elle is one or so, then we will just stop using protection and if it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, no big deal.

My2Beauties replied: I am SOOOOO Done after this baby. This is DH's 3rd, my 2nd and I always only wanted 2 kids. Financially I think it's best that we only have 3 kids together. We can provide a wonderful life for them, anymore kids and we'd really struggle. Not to mention the one toddler I have drives me nuts now and I'm gonna have 2.....I couldn't handle 3 Desiree is much older so at this point in time she's a little eaasier to handle, although she's getting into that teen thing and OMG it's a little scary!

HSAE4 replied: I have a three year old and one on the way in about 4 weeks. I am leaning towards this being the last one. We are leaving are options open just incase we want another one, but I doubt it. I'm 27 and don't really wanna get preggo after 30. I always wanted to be a young parent although parenting makes me wore out some days to the point that I feel like I'm 80 or something, but it's all worth it. Who knows I may change my mind one day about having another one.
