Is it my computer?

3_call_me_mama replied: I'm getting it too. So i clicked download adn NOW my antivirus posp ups and shows a trojan virus trying to download tha thas been deleted. DH said it appears that there is a virus on the page somewhere. through one of the links or tickers or pictures. Cause I can't see anyone's pictures unless i click that download option. TLC DAD anythoughts?

b&bsmom replied: Me too although all it is really blocking is the ads at the top. Maybe it was one of those that had a virus. I don't know much about this sort of thing.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I did not notice that banner until you said that. Usually a banner at the top means a pop-up has been blocked and I overlook it. But all the topics on this GD page are screwy, and I cannot see any of the smilies on posts. Wierd.

3_call_me_mama replied: I PM'd TLC dad. I have teh banner ads, but not any picteurs liek attached pictures. (only tickers ad siggys that are linked to other sites)

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Yeah - every time I open a topic, reply, go to another page, I get it. I just left the box open and moved it, for now.

I can see a few of the smilies, but not all, I can see all the siggies, but not the pics.

DH isn't impressed... he's mad at me - since it's "my fault for going online all the time".

Dude... I go on this site, www.crochetpatterncentral.com and copy paste the text to word to print, or allrecipes.com. What a life, eh?? What could I POSSIBLY have downloaded, Mr.I'm-gonna-dowload-a-patch-for-this-program *sigh*

MamaJAM replied: I'm getting that same message on the top of my screen today and my computer keeps 'bleep'ing at me. My computer is blocking all of the smilies and icons in front of the main board pages. It hasn't happened before - definately strange.

Momof3inMe replied: I had the same problem this morning also. I have a dell and I dont know if all computers have this or not. I went under start then to programs then to accessories then system tools then to system restore and from there i was able to restore my computer back to a different day that my computer was running right. like I said I dont know if this will work for everyone else but it did work for me. I hope everyone gets things worked out.
