I have a friend who is tring them and he has had some dates but nothing serious or long term yet, course he just started a few months ago.

3_call_me_mama replied: DH and I met on match.com. Almost 3 years ago. We emailed a few times, then met in person and were engaged 2 months later! WE were married the following July and ds was born a few months after that! I wouldn't change a thing!

kimberley replied: i have chatted with a few people online before i met DH. went to go meet one guy after we had talked on the phone for a few weeks and we had exchanged pics. it was a nightmare. he turned out to be really short and rude. nothing like he was on the phone. asked me about personal hygiene ::shudder:: and tried to kiss me.. i was completely grossed out and went home.

i do know a girl who met a guy from Ireland online and fell madly in love. they are now married and she lives there with him. internet dating works for some... just not me.
