Mommy2BAK replied: Thank you guys.... I have been asked I don't know how many times, if we are competing with the Duggars, haha, no we are not. I have been asked if we believe in birthcontrol.... haha, yes we sure do.

We are considered a high risk pregnancy after complications with the twins pregnancy, so we have had lots of ultrasounds, and this doctor said with his new ultrasound machine he can sometimes determine the sex, and he could at 11 weeks. WOW.

You know I'm kidding!

Really, people say the dumbest things sometimes, and they just think they're being funny. For instance, when I got pregnant this time, I don't know how many people said "Maybe you'll get a girl this time!", like a boy is a bad thing One of my friends is expecting #3 (just 3!), and I have heard several people ask "Don't you know what's causing this?" I don't think most people who make these remarks have malicious intent, but don't think about how it might be received by the mama-to-be.

That said, CONGRATULATIONS! I think responsible parents who can provide for their children should have as many as they can take care of. Besides, it's not like 5 is a huge number. 5-7 children used to be the norm...and probably the average!
