I'm so excited, she's in labor!!! - A little early

luvmykids wrote: I just got back from the hospital, my friend whose husband is the one who got hurt Friday, is officially in labor! I had no idea I would be so excited, but all of my friends who have kids already had them when I met them, this is the first friend of mine to have one after me. I kinda feel like it's family, kwim?

Her water broke an hour away from the hospital so I put together a bag for her and ran it over there, she's 2cm so far, contractions about 3 minutes apart. Say a quick prayer for the baby, he's a month early.

He's doing ok, kind of drugged up but at least he can be with her.

Hopefully we'll have a baby by morning!!!

oh-the kids are almost excited as me, Colt wanted to go to the hospital with me (mom came over instead, no fun LOL) because he says he has some stuff to show the baby .... his new boots

I could've said December but if I did that means August, I seem to operate on a different calendar than everyone else She's due Aug 25 and is at 5 now so she's coming right along! I wish I could be there, I don't know why it was so exciting for me except that she's the last person I ever expected to have a baby! We have big plans for him and Colt as long as he stays away from my girls

luvmykids replied: I was waiting until I had a picture but yes, he's here! She had him at about 6:45 yesterday morning. I saw them yesterday, he's a little guy (5lbs 11oz) but perfectly healthy even 4 weeks early, and so stinkin cute I can't stand it! He's bigger than either of the twins were but I can't remember them ever being so tiny!
