I'm ready for a slow down

But seriously, I need to take a breather. Today Ethan is in school so I'm trying to get some things done around here. This is the first day since he's been in school that I haven't been scheduled out the wazoo with meetings and things. Actually, I did have a meeting scheduled, but I'm skipping it. I have to say no to somethings and put my priorities in order.

I'm tired of complaining about the house and pushing and shoving stuff aside. One of the many reasons I put Ethan in school is to have a day to myself to clean. Well, Mondays I'm volunteering in Maddie's class and Wednesdays are the only day I have. So, here I am. Doing housework. I should feel good when it's finished.

I must get back to my duties.

coasterqueen replied: I know how you feel. Friday afternoons are my only time alone, to myself since I get them off of work in the summer. Well the summer 'hours' are done in 2 weeks and I haven't spent 1 Friday afternoon doing something for me. I've spent it running errands, cleaning house, mowing the yard, getting groceries, etc. Maybe next year.

A&A'smommy replied: I need to straighten up because I"m going to be gone all day tomorrow and friday I'm going to be to exhausted when I get home.

im going non-stop prolly 14hrs straight with work and coaching...then come home to steph and baby duties.



i need some rest...and i dont see any in my future until maybe mid-late november.

I don't think I have had a day of rest since June 23, 2004........LOL. Between full time work and a huge commute betwen home and office, Jack, the house, etc etc.........my house is a disaster.......................
