I'm making progress! - convincing DH to have a 3rd!
PrairieMom wrote: Yesterday I talked with DH about having a 3rd again. After Alexis was born he was dead set against it, but I am slowly wearing him down. We actually talked about if we would have to move, and things like that. I outlined my life plan for him, that we would have another in May of 09, and that we could stay in the same house with only a few small changes. I have even been working on names, (molly or rose for a girl and Conrad or Justin for a boy) and how I plan on telling our families and everything. can you tell I have spent lots of time thinking about this? It is feeling more like a real possibility! I hope so. I have the fever soooo bad.
stella6979 replied: Avery is only a year and I've already got the stinkin baby fever. DH and I already agreed to wait at least 3 years before we have another, but if we have a boy next, we'll most likely be done. I love kids, but I don't think I could handle three of them. LOL! Good luck to you though. I hope everything pans out for ya!
PrairieMom replied: my whole like I always just planned on 2, but after Ben was born I knew that I would have to have three. I figure it won't be so bad, Ben will be 6 at that point, Ally will be 3, they are pretty self sufficient at that point. Only one in diapers at a time, and besides, we already have the mini-van.
Calimama replied: Ditto! Only Bella is only 9 months.
I hope DH gives in for you!! You and your DH make such cute kids, it would be a shame not to have a 3rd.
lisar replied: I hope your DH agrees with you. For me I am done I have my 2 and thats really all I want. (all I can have also) I just love to see big families though. I wouldnt mind more kids I just dont like to be pregnant.
kimberley replied: glad you made progress! i have the fever too but no more babies in my future i don't think.
lovemy2 replied: Good for you, you are a brave woman in my book - I have my two and that's all I can handle pregnancy wise adn raising them....
Good luck and KUP
CantWait replied: I hope to hear some news of ttc#3 soon.
luvmykids replied: Well let me give you an early congratulations
If I'd planned it I probably would have stopped at two (and meant to, after the twins LOL) but TBH the difference from two to three really isn't that much.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: OMG Tara are you serious?! NO offense, but wow that's soon! Since we had our seconds so close, I have to say I am NOWHERE close to wanting a third! But that's just me. I always forget that Ben is older than Wil though, so that could be part of it on my end. Anyhow, congrats and I wish you lots of luck and happiness! I would do it in a heartbeat if I could just wrap my finger around having two...I still have a long way to go to feel comfortable in my current situation! I'm so happy for you!
Love the names btw!
PrairieMom replied: OMG NOT NOW!!! We will probably start trying in about 18 months or so. I got to get this thrush thing fixed first. I am just super excited about it. I have been so sad about the idea of not having another, so I am loving progress in this direction.
Boo&BugsMom replied: If I can get Troy to cave about having Aiden as soon as we did, you can convince your hubby of anything!!! Troy was dead set against having another one in this house because we only have a two bedroom home and no money to get a larger one. Low and behold...we had another boy, were able to build Tanner a playroom to make room in the bedroom for baby things, and all is well now!
I would love to have 3 and try for a girl, but after having a hard pregnancy this time and Aiden's extreme colic, I think two is it for us!
luvbug00 replied: sounds like he's slowly becoming convinced . now if you could lend some tips over this way. I got the fever bad!
gr33n3y3z replied: nor to 4
C&K*s Mommie replied: Hope everything works out for you in the next 18months, and you can start trying again.
coasterqueen replied: You may change your mind in 18 months too. After Megan was born I wanted a third so bad I couldn't stand it. Several months later I was completely sure I never wanted anymore kids. I can't handle the two I have, nor do I have time with work.
