I'm going to lose it very soon - vent
amynicole21 wrote: Sophia didn't feel well when she went to bed last night, but we thought she was just over-tired since she spent the night at our friend's house and got maybe 5 hours of sleep. Then she threw up, and continued to do so every hour or so all night long. We ran out of clean places to sleep because she vomitted all over every bed, pillow and set of sheets in the house.
So I didn't sleep well last night, and am cranky as heck this morning.
Then DH goes out to mow the grass and in the space of one hour Nora knocks over a beer bottle full of cigar butts outside, Sophia vomits all over the couch and rug even though the trash can I put out for her was mere inches away, and Nora is incessantly whining and jabbering and asking questions... I'm going to lose it!
My SIL is on her way right now for a visit and I may just explode...
luvmykids replied: Aw, I'm sorry, I hope she feels better soon
Mine never make the trash can either Sorry, it's the worst thing to have to clean up
MommyToAshley replied: Oh no... what an aweful day.
I hope Sophia starts to feel better and you get a chance to relax a little. Wish I lived close, I'd come help.
kit_kats_mom replied: healing vibes your way. Poor mommy. Maybe you and Shawn can tag team today and get some rest.
A&A'smommy replied: Oh no poor baby!!! I hope she gets over this bug quickly and LOTS of stay well vibes to the rest of you!! Anyway I'm sorry I hope your day calms down for you!!!
momofone replied: One thing I found that helps is to put a sheet over the couch and carpet so that clean up is easier. HTH
lovemy2 replied: Poor Baby - I hope she feels better - and that you can get some rest -
We have this HUGE beach towel - whenever Olivia has the pukes she is on it - in bed, couch, etc. she will tell me after the first puke "guess its time for the towel huh Mom"
redchief replied: Wow, I hope things settle down for you, Amynicole!
mom2patrick&jalin replied: Poor thing hope she is feeling better soon!!
gr33n3y3z replied:
How is she feeling now? And how are you dealing?
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I think if Sophia is vomitting that much, I would take her to see a doctor. She could be getting dehydrated and low on electrolytes. I hope she feels better soon! Try to get a break when you can!
amynicole21 replied: Thanks guys. She's stopped vomitting, but doesn't have an appetite yet. I'm trying to get her to drink, but she doesn't want to. She's been sleeping most of the day. I am fixing her a waffle right now... the only thing she would agree to eat I hope that getting a little food in her tummy will help her feel better.
coasterqueen replied: You and I lead parallel lives. I'm telling you. Not that mine were sick today, but I lost it hours ago.
I hope things are better now.
Boys r us replied: I hope that things are better now Amy! Poor Mommy and Sophia! As for nora, it's like they know exactly when we're at our witt's end..and that's when they get all clingy and whiny!

There is nothing worse than barf

holley79 replied: Oh Amy I'm so sorry. I hope things get better real soon for your sanity sake.
DansMom replied: Triple yuck---barfing is the worst.
Tablespoons of flat gingerale mixed with gatorade---gross, but helps get those electrolytes back in gear. Hopefully the waffle will help. Poor Sophia!
