I'm going to cry - Just my luck

Well she denied my request. My paycheck is going to be 10 hours short because of that witch! Now I don't know what to do. I turned in new W4's to claim exempt for this pay period, hopefully that helps a bit, I can turn them back in and go back to my regular status next payroll cycle. I'm so upset! 10 hours is a lot of time.

Kaitlin'smom replied: awww I am sorry, I dont have assigned sick/vacation/PT I just have so many days a year that I can use for what ever I need. Thankfully my boss is pretty flexable about time off. I guess since I dont use much, I hardly ever call in, but I sure do think about it alot

No, they don't have any overtime available. Last Friday was the end of that pay period anyways. I was supposed to be making up time on Wednesday from when I was out Tuesday and I got sick at work again That is the night I went to the hospital and so I couldnt' come in Thursday because I was woozy from all the medicine they gave me in my IV. Here it is coming up on Father's Day and I finally thought I was caught up from this hole I've been in and was going to have some money to get Brian something nice from the girls and now with this I am going to be actually short on our bills! I can't catch a break. We have a specific amoutn of money put up for Vegas and I can't touch that, I don't want to because I want to have a good time while we're out of town, expensive town to be in I'm just stuck now. Poor Brian too, he always gets the butt end of my being broke, I make us both broke because stuff like this always happens to me OK I'll stop whining now - sorry guys!

Boys r us replied: Oh no!!!! I'm sorry!!!! that's about the only good thing I can say for my company, our vacation time and sick time is in one lump bucket of PTO and it's up to us to use it accordingly..but when it's gone it's gone and you can't call in sick and take unpaid..u have to haul your butt in here..or get fired!

When I used to work it was all one lump of PTO as well.... that's a sucky policy you've got there!

We leave this Saturday for Vegas so that is sort of out of the question, my short paycheck is this Friday. It's ok, I'll live through it I guess.
