Boys r us wrote: I decided we needed a trip, just a random weekend trip..so I decided since the kids loved the zoo here(which I've still failed to post pics of..sorry)that we should take them to the National Zoo in Dc..which is about 3 and half hours away. So I made all of the plans and if you've ever been to DC you know how horrid the traffic and getting around that place can be, so I was thrilled to find a Marriott right next door to the zoo! Anyways, the kids don't know AND.....I called Tanner's best friend's mom and asked her if we could steal him for the weekend...she was happy to "donate" to our cause, so Chris (tan's best friend) is going, but he doesn't know yet either! We're only going for the weekend so we won't have time to do everything there is to do in DC but we are definitely going to take them to the zoo and the Space building at the Smithsonian and the washington monument!
They're going to be suprised and thrilled(well Tanner and his friend at least, Braedon he just goes with the flow)!!
