I'm back. With babies!

iluvmysweetiepies wrote: I had the girls on the 26th and got home this morning. Alexia Michelle was 4lb 7oz and 17.25 inches long. Brooklyn Elizabeth was 5lb 2oz and 18.25 inches long. They are still in the hospital but are doing well and just need some help with jaundice, breathing, and feeding and some other problems preemies have. If all goes well they should be home in about 2 or 3 weeks. I'm so in love with these beautiful babies!!

iluvmysweetiepies replied: lol, well they were born at about 34 weeks, so they could have gone longer, I think 36 weeks is considered full term for twins. Their sisters are very excited about the babies! They can't wait for them to come home so they can hold and play with them.

I do too. I had never realy heard the name Ashlyn before your Ashlyn (and Karen talking about naming her baby Ashlyn), but I LOVE it! I agree with Aimee, all of the five names you have picked are lovely xx

Wow, when my twins came, they were all over 5 lbs at 35 weeks, I guess we were just lucky! Glad they're doing okay though. Hope they come home soon.

iluvmysweetiepies replied: Thanks everyone! We just got back from visiting them. They are both off oxygen now! Woohoo! They are both getting help feeding and that is what will keep them in the hospital for awhile. We also got to hold them and omg they are so tiny compared to my other girls at birth! Alexia is doing pretty good at keeping her temp, Brooke still needs help with that. Overall they are doing pretty good though! I can't wait until they come home!
