I havent played wow in about 3 months because my dh was no longer able to play it on the crappy internet they have overseas, so we both can't wait to start up again once he's home.

My best friend told me that WOW is the most popular thing for wives of soilders to do while husbands are deployed (reccomended actually) and its pretty popular amongst the soilders. Her husband is NOT aloud to play because she knows he will become addicted and he wont play for that very reason!

youngmomofone replied: Yes it is highly addictive, but we know our rules and limits. And good for your friend...at first I HATED the game and wouldn't try it. But then dh kept bugging until I finally did and liked it. My problem is I get bored easily with it, so I usually don't play for too long anyways.

I agree there is a group on face book WAWOW, wives against world of warcraft!! I'm a member (who would have guessed!!! ) seriously though I think my husband needs to be apart of that support group, him and two of his friends that play together all the time.

ETA - question answered.. i'm on a pvp server. Can I create an alliance char on another server? i'm not bound to one server, am I? I'm still kinda new at this!

A&A'smommy replied: Do ya'll not have the expansion pack? Dh is a level 80 Alliance, I'm not sure what server he is on but neither of those sound familiar, he is also in two guilds one is his own (just for the bankc ) and the other is for when he does raids and stuff that and his new WOW friends that live 2 hours from us are also in that guild (in a town VERY close to my best friend) they actually came down and went hunting with him and another couple of friends of ours Does anyone else talk in vent?

I have both expansion packs. I used to talk in vent, but most of the people I used to talk to went to other games so don't talk anymore. I have a lot of friends here in town that I play with too. We have a blast playing together. My roommates and kids play too.

TLCDad replied: DW and I used to play WoW quite a bit well mainly in the evenings 4-5 times a week. It can be very addictive and/or time consuming. I am trying to resist picking up the expansion and starting up again. I might play again some day but my DW said she will never play again as it takes up too much time.

mckayleesmom replied: Leithan plays, usually at night during the week...He isn't addicted yet though...He told me to tell him if he was getting out of control. I don't mind during the week at night though because then I can watch my tv shows without him complaining about them being girly...

Jeremiah has been trying to get me to play but I refuse because it takes up too much time and I don't have that, yeah I play on here and a few other websites but I can STOP at any point in time with WOW i have seen dh keep playing when someone needed attention or if I needed him to do something he will tell me to wait and that wait time can but up to an hour.. I can't stand it!!!
