I'm Back with a capital B
Danalana wrote: We got back from Gulf Shores on Saturday evening...I've just been too exhausted to get on here I'm telling you, travelling with a baby sure changes things, but it was so wonderful. I'll cherish every moment of it. Kade loves the water, so he "swam" in the pool a lot. The one time we tried putting him in the ocean (just his feet), the wave was harder than we thought, so some water splashed in his face. I think it burned his eyes a little and so he wasn't too happy (he was also extremely tired and sleepy at this point). We had fabulous seafood all week...man, I'm gonna miss that! Every moment that he wasn't at the pool or the beach, Richard spent on the balcony looking at the ocean. We were on the 12th floor, so we had a breath-taking view. We love swimming in the ocean, but Tropical Storm Dolly drove in a lot of jellyfish. I tried toughing it out, but I was on fire! The last day in the ocean was wonderful....no jellyfish at all. Unfortunately, i spent way too long out there. I hadn't gotten to get much sun because I would bring Kade in for naps or to eat a lot of times....so, I got burnt. Luckily, I am a great tanner, so it's already turned and beautiful The last night, Keenan and I talked Richard into riding the Sky Coaster at one of the theme places...it was SO FUN! I wanted to do it again and again....it turns out that I love the feeling of falling As for pictures, I will make a thread with them. I might just try to make a slideshow, but I'm still uploading. Photobucket is being extremely slow right now. I missed you!
Danalana replied: Oooooh, I didn't talk about the shopping! There is a huge outlet mall down there, and I got quite a few things for my little man. We racked up at Baby Gap and Carter's...oh, you should see some of this stuff--so cute! I love the outlet mall, but we were DONE in no time. Kade decided he was starving to death right in the middle of Gap, so I had to take him out of his stroller and carry him around feeding him. That really takes a toll after a while...I was pouring sweat. But we still managed to get some great stuff. Oh, I forgot that Richard and I got new flip-flops (HUGE, I know! ) and he got new sunglasses. he wanted to get me some because he feels guilty for getting something and not getting it for me too. I told him it would be a wasts of money because I don't wear them ever. Anyway, it was great
