If you were to change professions...

MommyToAshley wrote: You could be anything you wanted, time and money for education wasn't a restriction (although you would still have to take the classes and do the work), what would you want to do?

This may surprise some of you, but I would want to be a teacher. I'd want to teach the little ones biggrin.gif , not the high schoolers. LOL!

amynicole21 replied: I'd love to be a nurse in Labor and Delivery. It's actually still on my list of "things to do" blush.gif

coasterqueen replied: Do I have to chose one??? ROFL.

I would choose: lawyer, nurse in L&D (my all time fav, but can't stand the thought of nursing school), nurse in NICU, lactaction consultant........WHILE DOING ALL THIS I want to be a SAHM MOST OF ALL. smile.gif

heavenly_1970 replied: My first choice would be a photographer. Second would be L&D Nurse also (after giving birth I thought a/b this a lot.)

Kaitlin'smom replied: hummm guess this is why I never finshed college, could not make up my mind what I wanted to do. laugh.gif some that I have considered:

Nurse (probably in labor and delivery)
math teacher
paralegal
photographer

most of all stay at home mommy smile.gif

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Oh I would be doing something in the music industry. I do have the Music Degree, but really wish I had worked harder to get that Opera Performance Degree.

kimberley replied: for me, it is not really an issue of money, but of my time. if i had no kids, i would want to be a midwife or maybe a doctor. i don't think i could handle being away from them as much as required for that profession.

My2Beauties replied: Does a rich house wife count? Joking, I would be an actress...seriously, I would love to act (not for the fame and fortune, I mean it would be nice) but I just think that would be an awesome career, even do plays or something.

MomToMany replied: A midwife, doula, or lactation consultant smile.gif .

Guest replied:
Actually, teaching high school was and will be my dream job. I loved doing it, and was good at it. When the kids are older, I'll go back to it again.

But, boy, I wish it paid better! rolleyes.gif

Alice replied: That was me. For some reason,I keep getting logged off! dry.gif

kit_kats_mom replied: I always wanted to be a vet but my math skills leave a lot to be desired. tongue.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I have a list, too. rolling_smile.gif

Photographer
Culinary Artist and Chef
Interior Designer

~What's funny is, all of these are possible....if I would just do it! blush.gif

mummy2girls replied: I work with disabled kids from mild to very severe. I have always loved doing this and its my passion. But if i had to pick i would say kindergarten teacher:)

paradisemommy replied: pediatric nurse
construction worker...(lol i know i know seriously! i wanna get paid to ride around and play with tractors all day!)
animal trainer

what a variety huh?! emlaugh.gif

loveydad replied: My son is going to be a neonatal nurse. He wants to be with the babies (he studies premature birth like crazy!). He's looking for scholorships and stuff to go to school. You have to get your rn from what I can gather.

I would be....hmm. I love my job. It's great, the hours, (i paint murals in nurseries and kids rooms and stuff) . I would like to get a little more into organization and design though....I love designing and organizing kids rooms. Maybe thats why I keep having babies, so I can design their nurseries and do murals on their walls!

MommyToAshley replied:
Me too, I guess I didn't really word the question right. I meant if the kids are in school or grown, etc. smile.gif

aspenblue1 replied: Zoologist or vet working with the big cats!

TeagansMom609 replied: I would love to act. Who knows maybe I will one day! But since thats probably never going to happen. My most realistic dream job would be a SAHM. I hate having other people watch her all week. 3 different people to be exact. Im still trying to think of something I can do from home.

KatieLeigh79 replied: I have always wanted to be a Police Officer, actually started taking classes for it and doing ride alongs in HS and the first year of college then when Todd and I started to get serious it was brought up that he wouldn't want me doing that and having a child... so needless to say I'm just a broke SAHM, guess its okay though - if only I could get my little one to eat seeing he's being hostile again this week wacko.gif

Josie83 replied:
That's what i am training to do and I LOVE it! biggrin.gif wub.gif biggrin.gif can't imagine doing anything else. Ideally I would love my job just to be staying at home with Jason and Cassie but obviously that's not v practical! I can't wait until I am a trained actress and start getting proper jobs and everything! Other than that, i suppose being a teacher would be quite cool (although so demanding!) or doing something like being a doctor or midwife. There are some really cool answers!! xx

Boys r us replied: I would love to be a nurse in L & D, a journalist or to have a career in marketing.

DansMom replied: Philanthropist.

More practically, I almost went to nursing school eight years ago for L&D also---like a lot of people here, that really appeals to me. My best friend (since we were 10) went ahead and did this, went to nursing school later in life and at 40 now has caught four babies on her own in addition to assisting a lot of births. She's in heaven and it's her dream job, although she's exhausted, as she works the night shift and has a year-old son in addition to a 13 year old son!

A&A'smommy replied: I would be a dancer and I would want to work in theater like broadway!

ediep replied: I love teaching and when Jason is older, I inted to go back to teaching middle school.

Bit I would love to be a chef or to own my own homemade ice cream shop.
