If you could choose the month to deliver - what would it be?

MommyToAshley wrote: I delivered Ashley in Sept and I loved it. Everyone said I would hate being PG in the summer, but I didn't mind it. And, I didn't have to worry about the weather on the way to the hospital.

5littleladies replied: I loved having Brianna in September but I did not like being preggo in the summer so I'm giong to have to choose April (1st dd was born in April). I loved taking my new baby home when everything was starting to bloom-new life everywhere! biggrin.gif

msjennbug replied: I've had babies in Feb, April, 2 in Aug and one in Nov.

I liked the April birth the best! Would want to repeat that one.

It was so nice to be the biggest in the late winter/early spring and then welcome spring with a new life in our house! Feb was ok too, but I was already big at christmas and didn't feel good and didn't have as nice a holiday. All the extra gifts were nice, though LOL. The summer babies weren't so bad as long as I never left my house! LOL. ohmy.gif) and Nov was ok, but not as nice as April.

I've had babies in July, May, December, and April. I think the best month would have to be April thumb.gif . I HATED being preggo thru the summer! My last pregnancy was actually very comfortable, except towards the end, of course, when I could hardly lay down because my back hurt so bad smile.gif ! I love springtime, too, when everything else is having babies, and starting to bloom, and all that good stuff wub.gif .

MommyToAshley replied: Hmmm...gonna have to plan this next one for April hehe. Seems to be the most popular month so far.

supermom replied: Yep, I would have to say around that time too - April or May, because of the weather. I am NOT looking forward to being pg this summer, and I am sure it will be miserable!!! The rest I had in March, April and May and it was great.....

maestra replied: I would want April too because then I could take my six weeks off, which would run right to the end of the school year, then get another 3 months off with my baby.....now I wish we hadn't agreed to wait a year before trying for another! tongue.gif

MamaMartie replied: biggrin.gif I've had 2 in Feb, 1 in July, and now expecting this one in May. I've always wanted a May baby b/c the weather seems perfect. Not too hot or cold. I am so excited to finially get my May baby.

I liked July better than Feb b/c at least it was sunny and we could go outside.

I'd like to try for Sept/Oct next time....if I can talk my dh into #5.lol ohmy.gif

MommyToAshley replied: I loved having a Sept baby. smile.gif This is a busy month for us though.... DH's bday, Ashley's bday, and our wedding anniversary! Lots of celebration going on in Sept in this house!

CantWait replied: RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL I'm getting impatient. I wanna meet this little guy baby.gif

MommyToAshley replied:
You need to change your name to ReallyCantWait!!! LOL!!! emlaugh.gif

chloe&tysmommy replied: WOW.............
Me and my DH had planned that we would start trying again in July - which would be an April baby- and from what I read here you all agree that April is a good month!!! Now I'm getting excited......... rolling_smile.gif

Having a Sept. baby wasn't all too bad either, except for the last month when my feet started swelling.....ugh. sad.gif LOL

ashade75 replied: I had babies in January, April, and May.

I think I would have to choose April. You're not pregnant in the summer and the weather starts to get nice if you want to take the baby around to see everyone.

Yep got pregnant July 4 and delivered April 9 for anyone trying to have a baby in April. (hehe)

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I got pg in December, delivered end of August... now i'm *due* in december, but it may be a few weeks off becaue of screwy cycles... will let ya'll know on the 7th!

Kaitlin'smom replied: humm hard choice, but i guess springtime would be good or early fall.

Not planning on any more so i guess it does not matter.

momofajcl replied: I can't really complain a whole lot about the months I delivered my kids though the two born in January...I went thru the holidays thinking that I can pig out because I was pregnant! LOL! Anyway...I always wanted to have a May or June baby because warmer months follow.

CantWait replied:

hmmmmmm not a bad idea.

What am I going to do once the baby is here. (FINALLY hehe)

MommyToAshley replied:
There's always...can't wait for the baby to smile, can't wait for the baby to talk, can't wait for the baby to sleep through the night...LOL

CantWait replied:

LOL yup you're right. I'll keep it that way.

booey2 replied: With Matthew we didn't really try any month, we thought we would give trying for a baby a shot and wouldn't you know the first month we tried we got pg and he was supposed to be born at the end of July but couldn't wait and showed up 3 weeks early. So with Thomas we thought okay lets try for another summer baby because I really liked it. To say the least it took us 8 months to get pg and by that time our due date was early December. All I can say is thank goodness I cook em fast because he also arrived early, 14 days early and was born at the end of November. If by some miracle I could chose to have a baby in a certain month I think it would be May - August, I didn't really like the November situation because it is so hard to get out in the winter with the babes. Oh well we may be done with two, bawling.gif so we may not have this dilema anymore.
