I won a turkey fryer! - from the comissary....

I am really tickled here because DH has wanted one for the longest time and I won one. I guess the lady had no idea what the thing was that's why she kept calling it a steamer. Now I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving.

ETA: We fried ours a couple of years ago. It was tasty and got done really fast. I still kind of like it done regular better though.

I like the traditional way better too I think. We have been smoking a turkey the past few years, but have baking a smaller one in the oven not only so we can have that taste, but I just love the smell.

My SIL and her ex boyfriend smoked a turkey last Thanksgiving it was pretty good. I heard the fried turkey's are pretty good, I've been wanting try it.
