That is so sad how ppl. treat others especially older ppl.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Wow! I'm shocked her mother didn't say something to her. That's just awful. My mouth would have been slapped 5 states over had I ever talked to my grandparents in that tone.
CantWait replied: Very sad indeed. Sometimes teens etc just need to hear from someone else before it sinks in. Hopefully she's learned to keep her mouth zipped from now on and learn some RESPECT.
jacobsmama replied: wow! Good for you for telling her how rude she was! I also would have never got away with talking to my gpa like that but the difference is I would have never tried...
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: OMG, I can not even imagine ever treating my grandparents like that. That is beyond belief and I can't believe her own mother wasn't doing anything about it. Good for you, Lisa, more people need to be willing to make a stand for common courtesy and manners.
C&K*s Mommie replied: I am shock too that the mother was not saying something before it got out of hand like that.
That would have my blood boiling too!
Kudos Lisa for standing up for the Gfa!!!!
kristy-n-chad replied: I haaaaaaate when people are mean to older folk! They deserve all the respect in the world.
MommyToAshley replied: I could never imagine talking to an elderly person like this, let alone my own grandfather. That just breaks my heart to hear stories like this... good for you for saying something Lisa!
gr33n3y3z replied: I guess the mother didnt say anything to her bc she talks like that to her also I'm just guessing there tho. It bothered me so bad to hear that and like everyone else here I would never think to talk to anyone that way even more so to my grandparents. I just dont get ppl. this day and age how ppl. are being treated its just all wrong. I will remember that face and I better not hear her again bc I will press charges agaist her.
mom2my2cuties replied: Oh my! Kudos to you for standing up for the grandpa. I would have been beat 10 ways to Sunday if I had tried to pull something like that. Albeit - the beating would have probably come FROM my grandpa.
amymom replied: Yeah Lisa!!!!
luvbug00 replied:
ditto. geeze respect your elders Kid!!!
jcc64 replied: That's so sad. What was the grandfather doing while this was going on?
coasterqueen replied: Same here!
holley79 replied: I would never have thought to talk to my grandparents or anyone in that fashion. I am totally amazed at how some people treat their parents/ grandparents. The mother should be ashamed also for allowing her daughter to speak to (probably) the mom's dad. makes me so furious.
gr33n3y3z replied: The man sat there with his head hung down like a little kid it was so sad
boyohboyohboy replied: you should feel really good about sticking up for that man. i know that people treat old people, especially those that are not as sharp mentally just terrible. i had an experience one in an eat and park, the service for dinner had been terrible, it appears that most of the help were teenagers at the time, and at the check out register, there was a man who was attempting to dispute his bill, and it sounded like he was right, and the assistant manager was belittling him, i was so angry but i didnt speak up, and all the way home i was kicking myself, so when i got home i attempted to email the eat park corp. but was unable to find a link, and i had called back and gotten the assistant managers name, but was unable to report it. i have always felt bad about that. so again kudos to you.
gr33n3y3z replied: ty everyone if you were there you all would have said the samething as I did it was that bad.
Calimama replied: Wow.. I couldnt imagine talking to even a stranger like that.. let alone my grandfather. That's sad..
Kirstenmumof3 replied: OMG that is just awful! Her own Grandfather! That is so sad! I'm glad you said something to her. I wouldn't put up with it when Spencer went through that phase after we got home, he's been so much politer now (THANK GOD), but there is no excuse to treat the elderly this way!
kimberley replied: and the mother didn't put a stop to it?! i am glad you stood up and told her like it is. kids like that ought to be smacked back to reality. elderly abuse is getting more and more common
Kaitlin'smom replied: I coudl NEVER have spoken to my grandparents that way. Thank you for stepping in. Shame on that mother for not standing up for him and not teaching respect.
ediep replied: wow! That is so sad!! I hate when people are mean to the ederly. good for you for sticking up for him!!!!
