I was so mad saturday!!

Anyhow we went to this one house(lights were on, front door open) so I told the boys we were only going to houses with lights on. they went to the door rang the bell. A lady or should I say *itch comes to the door and asks my boys what they were doing? They said trick or treating. She says to them in a not so nice way Halloweens not until tommorrow. I am standing at the end of the driveway and I am a fuming little red riding hood at this point, I told her we got notices and that maybe she should turn her lights out!! Stupid witch how dare she yell at my kids!! They were afraid to go to any other house after that. ARGGHHH why can't people be polite and say I am sorry we are not passing out candy tonight or simply could have put a note on their door. Ewww i wanted to go tell her off but since the boys were there i did not want to make a scene.

kimberley replied: how rude!!! omg, i would have told her off! poor kids, i hope the rest of the night went ok. that is a huge pet peeve of mine... if you don't want to give out candy... turn out your lights!

Boys r us replied: Some people can be so rude! God help me if I turn out to be a grumpy old woman!!

booey2 replied: Sorry that happened. We only trick or treat on Halloween so as to avoid just that happening. That is almost as rude as people who come to your door even when the lights are out and pumpkins are out and they still insist on ringing the bell and banging on the door. We had a few of them last night. Even before we finished dinner they were knocking on our door and I mean you can see us eating as our dining room is right infront of a big picture window.

I mean, come on, this is not a new concept people! Turn off your light for one night, it won't kill you!

favre4fan replied: I normally don't tolerate rudeness that well but I thought for my boys sake I would be the bigger person and just walk away. I did have the expletives floating around in my head though!!Also when i got the eggs out of my fridge in the morning her house did pop into my head! Just kidding
