I was in a car accident yesterday (m)

On top of that, DH and me have infections. I have a sinus infection. DH has an upper respiratory infection. They want to see him back in two weeks for a chest x ray.

My neck hurts so bad. I guess it was a blessing that I didn't see the guy coming (and not stopping) because I didn't brace and probably could have been hurt worse.

UGH.

Makes me scared to get out on the roads, especially driving while Emma's in the car. I'm glad you're ok, other than your neck. It really could have been worse. Nathan (4) just LOVES the truck. Any minute he can ride in it he begs for it! Gabe could care less. LOL. But he likes to sit at the steering wheel.

I had to go an empty the totalled car last night. Ugh. No word from my lawyer. He won't be in for another 30 minutes and was in court all day yesterday.

Lily replied: I know what you're feeling. I was sitting at a redlight back in Dec. 2000, Jesse was not even a year old and was in his carseat in the backseat. This guy just ran straight into me. I was dead stopped and he hit me hard enough to shove my car into the intersection about 20 feet. Then he got out of his car and started yelling at me that I needed to move my car!!! Jerk! Turns out he didn't have insurance so my insurance had to pay for all my repairs. They sued him later on and I got my deductable back. My neck hurt sooo bad but the docs told me I was very lucky 'cause I didn't see it coming so I didn't tense up. Could've been so much worse. Gentle hugs to you! And SMACKIN's to the jerk that hit you!
