I think Kylie said a bad word

coasterqueen wrote: This morning Kylie and I were going down the garage stairs to the van to leave for daycare/work and she said "oh no it's dark in here". I said "Oh no". Then she says "oh gosh" with her hands on her face like the kid from Home Alone tongue.gif . So I said "oh gosh". Then she said "dog gammit!". I looked at her and said "what did you say?". She repeated it. I think she said what I think she said. bawling.gif blush.gif She must have got that from DH. mad.gif mad.gif

He's also got her saying the word "fart" instead of something more lady-like which I keep telling him how much I disapprove. He's not listening to me. mad.gif

Boys r us replied: rolling_smile.gif uh oh!!!!! yeah Braedon has picked upo a few choice words himself!
Luckily he's never said them anywhere out that embarrassed me!

A&A'smommy replied: rolling_smile.gif UH OH I'm sorry I think its halarious when they say curse words mostly because they don't know what they are saying, I would be upset with DH too!!! dry.gif

mammag replied: Oops!!! ohmy.gif

I'm surprised none of mine did that as much as my dh swears.

It is kind of cute though. wink.gif

TANNER'S MOM replied: The first time is cute...the other times are our fault!! lol

I have been threw this many times! Heck I can't get my grown kids to stop saying "freakin" its freakin this and freakin that.......

Makes me mad. I have told them if they are brave enuff to say that I should smack there mouth like I would w/ the other word. It sure doesn't sound very lady like coming from my pretty daughter..lol But she think I am crazy.

It's all my fault I have a potty mouth and I admit it.

5littleladies replied: Oh no!! Sorry but that gave me the giggles! rolling_smile.gif It's so naughty but it's too hilarious. wink.gif

I have the hardest time not laughing at my kids when they are being bad. It's just too hilarious sometimes. biggrin.gif

coasterqueen replied:
LOL.

DH cusses like a sailor and I have a bit of a potty mouth too. He thinks words like fart, damn, and God are words that should be ok to say. I think they aren't appropriate what so ever. Especially when God is not used in the context it should be. We have inner-family issues on religion. rolleyes.gif

I guess I should be happy she hasn't said some of the other phrases/words he says. rolleyes.gif

kit_kats_mom replied: ROFLMBO! Are our kids on the same page or what? rolling_smile.gif

A few days ago K kept repeating "where is the big 81tch?" We kept saying "what?" and she'd say it again with even better pronunciation. I had to leave the room because I almost peed my pants laughing. I seriously think she was asking where the big Witch was but OMG! We don't use that word around her.

Maybe she was saying something else. Bad DH for not supporting you though. mad.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: ohmy.gif OMG! Well at least it wasn't too bad! Claudia heard me say "SH*T" and then she repeated it like 10 times! They pick up everything we say and parrot everything now!

MommyToAshley replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

Sorry, dont mean to laugh, but couldn't help it.

DH and I were just having this talk, that we really need to watch what we say. Not just bad words, but what we say in general.

ediep replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif
sorry, but its pretty cute, it could have been worse....

we have been saying that we definately have to watch what we say because Jason repeats everything

maestra replied: Jaci's latest is "Damn it". We just decided to ignore it, figuring that if we made a big deal out of it, she would keep saying it.

Since we heard her say it the other day, we haven't heard it again. But I think she got it from me- I have a bad habit of saying that when she decides to knock over something in a temper tantrum.

Bad mommy! blink.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

I admit it....Damn it is my favorite word. blush.gif Maddie tries to use these words at times. DH doesn't approve of 'fart' he would prefer something more ladylike. laugh.gif Everytime she says something we die laughing. We just can't help it. We really need to watch what we say. blush.gif Just the other day she said "Oh Shit!" (she got that one from DH) rolleyes.gif We do punish her for saying these things. I know she doesn't know what she is saying, but I tell her it isn't nice and make her think about it a minute. wink.gif

Whew! Glad I'm not the only one! unsure.gif

amynicole21 replied: LOL! Sorry, but that is too cute tongue.gif Unfortunatly, DH and I slip up waaaay too much. We're lucky Sophia hasn't said more rolleyes.gif

aspenblue1 replied: LOL Isabella has learned them all.

My DH will call me D*** old Neisers so now she will scream for me that way

Also leaving Mcdonalds one day she took off running down the sidewalk screaming Oh S***! several times. Talk about embarassing!

paradisemommy replied: roflmbo..dh and i don't swear at all but he was playing halo one day with a coworker of ours when this guy obviously doesn't have any kids cause just about every other word was sh*t..taven picked up that one really fast. i tried EVERYTHING to make it go away..ignoring it, telling him not to say it, i even pretended he was saying shirt so every time he would say it i would say..pants..but he would end up telling me SH*T SH*T SH*T..luckily it went away all on it's own after about 2 or 3 weeks..but it was pretty funny cause we'd be out in public and out of the blue he'd say...ooohhhh sh*t then start cracking up..course we got looks like we were the worst parents in the world...LOL..toddlerhood is so fun!! rolling_smile.gif

at least you know you're not alone!!

Mommy2BAK replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

I am sorry but I can't help but laugh. That is cute, but I do hate it when pretty little girls walk around saying "FART". Yuck!! I hate it!!!
