I think I have a problem

I'm realizing that I put no thought into myself--what I like or would like to have. I know I have a baby now, but I was like that before he came along. It's just really starting to get on my nerves. If somebody asks me what I want for Christmas, i should be able to answer! Anybody else have this problem?
mckayleesmom replied: I'm the same way.....The kids have long since destroyed all my stuff....So I really don't have alot, but I always think of other ways I can use my money...So I don't think about it.
Kaitlin'smom replied: every year, I dont like asking for things.
A&A'smommy replied: nope I wanted pictures frames and clothes this year.. or stuff for my photography I really use to be like that though but now I ask for stuff that I actually need
PrairieMom replied: I actually don't WANT anything for Christmas. Unfortunately, I know that I will receive gifts anyway, but I feel so blessed to have what I have , I really don't NEED anything, and I hate the idea of people buying me something just to say that they did, when that $ could have been better used elsewhere.
gr33n3y3z replied: I'm getting my house done as I'm typing this right now what more could I want really Even tho many years past ask Ed I dont want anything I like giving presents and seeing people smile
moped replied: I am like that because I also think of the kids first, but I tend to buy what I want and not wait for an occasion.....so Ia m bad!!!!!!
Right now i am DYING for Wii!
moped replied: I am VERY much like that - I love to spoil my freinds and family and love to see them happy and surprised!
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I'm the same way And I dont ever know what I want when some one asks what to get me for Christmas. This year dh and I told our parents to get for the kids but they probably wont listen.
My3LilMonkeys replied: I am the same way, the only ideas I came up with this year are new cookie sheets, new slippers and the newest John Grisham paperback. Real exciting, huh?
My other problem is that there are things that I would like to have but I don't want that much money spent on me. There's a new Stephen King book out but it's $30 and I told DH not to buy it cause I think that's too much. I'd also love to have a mother's ring but I won't even ask for it this year because I don't want to spend that much.
lisar replied: I am the same way people ask me what I want and I tell them nothing cause there is nothing that I actually need. But like my Granny and my MIL will push. So i always tell them kitchen stuff. I am a kitchen stuff junkie.
Crystalina replied: I'm the same way. I just don't like getting gives from people. I don't know why but I just don't.
MoonMama replied: I'm the same way.
I would much rather give then get. Even when I was a little kid, my mom used to tell me all the time that it was ok to spend my money (birthday money, allowance, etc) on myself. But I tended to get things for everyone else.
