I need to vent

redchief replied: I've never met sweeter women than our school secretaries. I can't imagine anyone giving them a hard time. Now administrators on the other hand are a different story! May all of your parents for the rest of the week be stable, even tempered and kind.

Same thing here. more students fought with the administrators than other students. I could never be that mean to an adult

After one mom was done yelling at me, because she forgot to get some paper to the office on time, the next mother called me and started the conversation with "I don't mean to be snotty but...." if you need to say that then just don't say anything at all is what I think. I had just about had it, but I tried to be gentle, sweet and accommodating with all of them. Thanks for listening to me vent.

I did (vocally) put stress on the words "and", but it did not make her any less snotty. I could not give her what she wanted. She kept saying... but I have 4 kids. And I kept thinking, and I have 425 kids to accommodate not just your ones. Anyway, tomorrow will be a better day and then I am off until next Thursday!!!
