kit_kats_mom replied: My mom reccomends Johnathon Strange and Mr. Norell http://www.jonathanstrange.com/
She's a big LOTR and harry potter fan and I believe it's witches and faries. Really good but really big.
Josie83 replied: I don't know if it appeals to you but the Da Vinci Code was awesome! Both me and my husband loved it, and I didn't think that I would
Another book that I ahve recently read is the Five People that You Meet in Heaven, but that's pretty short. Good though.
Anything by Martina Cole, I don't know if you lot would appreciate that but its really gritty London crime an dits so addictive!
My sister lent me a load of "classics" that I had never got round to reading a while back and some of them are great! Out of the ones I read, I would really reccommend 1984, The Catcher in the Rye, OF Mice and Men, To Kill A Mockingbird (that one is amazing), Lord of the Flies and A Clockwork Orange.
Let us know what you decide upon! xx
mckayleesmom replied: I read alot of books by Jodi Picoult..(SP?)...I really loved the one called MY SISTERS KEEPER by her. They sell it at Walmart for I think 10 dollars if I remember right.
Josie83 replied: O yeah Bri I read that one too! I loved it! How could I forget that? Plain Truth was great as well . definitely recommend anything by her!! xx
mckayleesmom replied: I really like all her books
mckayleesmom replied: Also try The Lovely Bones and Lucky by Alice Seabold......I reccomend reading Lucky First and then THe Lovely Bones....The first one is the authors biography of the aftermath of her rape and the second is a fictional tale of a girl that is murdered and looking down on her family, friends and killer in the aftermath of her death....
MomToJade&Jordan replied: There's a 4th book in this series. It's called Shopaholic and Sister. I love these books very funny and a great read.
kel replied: my mom just lent me sisterhood of the travelling pants and confessions of a shopaholic so im hoping they are good:)
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: My favorite is James Patterson. I am reading him right now. I haven't read a book of his I didn't like. I wish I had more time to read. I read a lot when I was PG, but now with miss mackenzie it is hard to find the time. If you read any of his books let me know if you liked them!!!
