I need lots of prayers..for my dad

He's at the hospital by now, I haven't heard anything more about what is wrong. If it's a heart attack, it would be his 3rd. He is 81 and currentyl dealing with cancer as well. Things really don't look good.
Please please please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. I just don't think I can take this right now.

It turns out it wasn't a heart attack (thank goodness!). He has internal bleeding around his heart. It was a cause of his blood thinner. Apperently he had been swollen and not feeling so great since the morning, but being his stubborn self he didn't tell anyone.  If he hadn't gone to the hospital he would have bleed to death during the night.
He's still in pain but doing better. He'll be in the hospital for at least 3 more days. Please keep praying for him.
Hug your parents today.

It just reminds me how fast things can happen. They were over at our house a few hours before.
Well, he recieved some blood transfusions, but that doesn't help much with taking away the excess blood from around his heart. So he *might* have to have surgury to drain the blood, but they are trying to wait and see if it gets better before they do that because of the risks of infection.
An email was sent out by someone in our church asking everyone to pray for him. I was so happy when I saw it. It makes you feel good to know others are there to support and pray for him as well.

I miss my parents something awful, and am happy to pray for someone elses parents once in awhile.

Well, he's stopped bleeding and the swelling has gone down. But his blood count has gone down so he's getting another transfusion and will be in the hospital at least one more day. It's still not clear whether or not he'll need surgery.
