indywndy_04 wrote: Do you see my bottom ticker!!! This is actually our FIRST anniversary!! YIKES!! I still have no clue what to get hubby. I want to get him something that shows him how much I appreciate all that he does, like a massage spa treatment or something like that....heck - I dont know! Anyone have ideas???? Something that really wow'ed your spouse???

kit_kats_mom replied: I ordered the Planet Earth DVD series for my DH for fathers day. I know he will be thrilled. It's a wonderful series from Discovery TV. Our whole family will sit and watch those over and over when they are on. He's getting Blue Planet next. It's the same kind of thing but oceans only.

I also got him a new cordless phone set...but that was kind of more for me. I use our home phone more and I was fed up with the problems we were having with our old phone system. :-)

Twelve Volt Man replied: Most guys are perfectly happy with guy toys, such as a powerful cordless drill, electronics, or something related to a hobby of his. I think that's one way where men and women differ. You ladies try to put thought into gifts, and get something with meaning. We just tend to get practical or fun stuff. Good luck in your quest for the perfect gift, and Happy Anniversary!

indywndy_04 replied: thanks for the ideas. He isnt much of a handy man...i hate to say, but he does like his lawn equipment! smile.gif

Maybe I can do something like that or get him some sports tickets to a ball game.

I hate trying to think of stuff to do...ugh.

MyBabeMaddie replied: Happy Anniversary!

indywndy_04 replied:
Thank you! I love your siggy...so cute!!!

moped replied: For some reason I thought you had been married a looooong time! DOn't ask me why I thought that

Twelve Volt Man replied:
Now, that's an excellent idea!

indywndy_04 replied:
Nope, my 3 kids were from a previous marriage. So this is my husbands first baby!! smile.gif

MyBabeMaddie replied:
Thanks, Crystal is so talented, I wish she would send some of her artisticness (dont think thats a word) my way

redchief replied: I would thoroughly enjoy tickets to a ballgame. Happy Anniversary!

kit_kats_mom replied:
That's perfect actually. Isn't the first anniversary paper? Paper tickets would be ideal!

HuskerMom replied: I don't have any advice just wanted to say Happy Anniversary!
