I need encouragement!
Danalana wrote: Since last night, I just feel like I am going to start bleeding any minute. I remember that feeling with Kade. I ran to the bathroom every few minutes, thinking I was bleeding. PLEASE somebody tell me this is a normal feeling (though I know it is, but I need somebody to help me feel better!). I'm 5w 3d, so I'm sure it's the baby settling in. I'm not really cramping or anything...it's just a dull feeling. No spotting at all and, believe me, I have been checking! So, tell me your experience with this feeling in early pregnancy. Please.
msoulz replied: Dana, I remember feeling the same way every time I went to the bathroom - please, no blood, please no blood ... And I swear I kept that up through half Erin's pregnancy. So I think it is normal to have anxiety like that after losses. But I am an accountant, not a shrink! I sure hope all is well.
Danalana replied: Haha, thanks Mary. I'm feeling better now. I took a tylenol (had a headache too) and soaked in the tub with wonderful warm water. My sense of smell has been really weird and I have always read that that can happen. Don't think it happened with the boys, though. The other day, I kept thinking I smelled my perfume, even though I wasn't wearing any and hadn't even used it since a couple of days before. I smelled it everywhere I went. Earlier, Richard was making coffee and it smelled like skunk to me

CantWait replied: Honey I'm right with you there. And after what we've been through, checking the toilet paper doesn't stop. There does come a time though where you will begin to feel better about things going well. Just count down all the milestones, even the smallest ones.
For example: I made it further along this time than ........, count down to the NT scan if you're having one, second trimester, anything.
Hang in there, I know it's hard, but you have a group of people backing you up and there for you.
Danalana replied: Thank you, Marie. Tomorrow, I will be as far along as I was when I lost the last one...5w 4d. That dull feeling is back.... *sigh* I'm sure it will pass.
grapfruit replied: You know we're all here praying hard for you! You WILL make it through.

A&A'smommy replied: girl I did that with both of my kids and i have never had a loss so I would amagine what you are going through is PERFECTLY normal!! I just hope goes quickly your first trimester goes quickly for you!
BTW the smell thing I had SOOOO bad with Autumn... we moved into a house that had a real fire place that hadn't been lit in 2 or 3 years or even longer than that and everytime I walked in the room I could smell it.. it was annoying!
amymom replied: prayers continue!!
coasterqueen replied: I didn't have a loss, but know the feeling of going to the bathroom to wipe. Right after I found out I was pg with Megan I started bleeding and didn't stop until the 3rd trimester. Every time I go and wipe and find a big clot of blood I'd start crying and call the doctor, they'd have me come in etc etc etc. I feared my entire pg with her - feared I was going to lose her any time.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: I did that too, especially in the earlier weeks when I was pg with both my kids, and the baby I lost too. I was a nervous wreck during my pregnancy with Allie. I hope the next few weeks pass quickly for you and you can start to relax!
Danalana replied: Thanks, ladies I'm feeling better about it now. That feeling is pretty much gone I just can't believe how tired I am! I don't think I was this tired with either of the boys. It's all I can do to get the boys in bed between 8 and 8:30, and then I am pretty useless. Crazy hunger--I wake up STARVING in the middle of the night. I've had a little nausea, but nothing too bad yet I'll be 6 weeks on Wednesday
ZandersMama replied: the sense of smell increase oh I remember that. I was working nights in a coffee shop when I was first pregnant with Zander . Coffee at two am is not good. All the differances you are hAving this pregnancy, maybe a girl ?
Danalana replied: I'm hoping so
