I need creative help - Anyone feel creative today?
amymom wrote: I am making up a flyer to give to some artists to show them a new product our store is carrying... (frames & mats) I put a short description of the mats & frames, a bold headline and I am putting a small box that shows 3 different items and their prices. I need a headline for that small box. I have right now:
Sample offerings: English Rose 11 x 14 matte ~$3.50 11 x 14 Canadian Walnut Frame ~$23.85 Crystal Clear Bags ~$0.90 each
So what is a better headline than 'Sample offerings' ???? I am having a brain cramp and can't come up with anything. HELP!!!!
hopefulmomtobe replied: Since it is a new product, how about New Offerings or New Line
Something like that?
coasterqueen replied: Ok, I'm confused....are you setting up a display of the product and putting up a flyer in front of it showing what a sample of the product would cost?
amymom replied: I like that but.... (and I didn't say that at the beginning I didn't want to get too wordy) My bold headline says "Now Available: Mats & Frames" then there is a description of the quality of the frames and the mats, then I have this section where there is the sampling of the items we offer, with prices. I am blocked on what little words to put there. Maybe I will leave off this part all together. It just doesn't seem to fit. lol Thanks lots!!!
amymom replied: No distributing the flyer to an art class in town and maybe mailing it to their homes.
edit to fix spelling errors.
coasterqueen replied: I'm coming up w/nothing.......Proposed Sample, Proposed Offering, Illustration?????? I'll try to think of something else but I'm drawing a blank too. I'm not sure I like the word "offering".
coasterqueen replied: What about "Introductory offer"?
amymom replied: I like that! I may try "Come and see:" I am trying to insert it here: Tell me what you think....

I took the personal info out for privacy.
coasterqueen replied: I like the flyer. I'm not an english junkie but after different openings should there be a : because you are explaining the types of openings.?. Not sure.
Don't hate me but I don't like the "come and see" but I'm not sure I like introductory offer now that I see the flyer. Hmmmmm, not sure.
course you are the one who has to like it so I hope I'm not offending you.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I dont like come and see either, maybe see whats new.....or hear is a sample of whats new........
amymom replied:
I am not liking the come and see either, but didn't know what to use. I like the "See what's new" I'll try them out. Thanks for giving me your ideas everyone.
And Karen, yes it does need a colon, thanks for seeing that.
coasterqueen replied: I'm having a creative block as well, and I don't usually have that great of one to start with.
The only things running through my head are:
Check out our newest products Check out our latest products Our latest products Fashionable new products Just a few of our new products
You can play on the word product to using merchandise instead, something like that.
Sorry, I know I'm not much help here.
amymom replied: I think I am going to try "Just a few new arrivals:" OR "New Arrivals:" I am going to give it up for today and see what I come up with. Then I am going to just be done with it. I hate when I hit a stone wall and can't think. lol
I appreciate everyone's help Thank you!!
