I love my little boy!

I was hoping for a girl early in my pregnancy, because I think girls are GREAT when they get to be between 6 and 10 years old (before they become teenagers of course), so much fun and I understand their cares and interests so much better than boys! But as soon as I saw Daniel's perfect little body on the ultrasound I fell head over heels in love. Now I can't imagine if Daniel were a girl. I can imagine having a girl, but not instead of Daniel---he was meant to be my wonderful, perfect little boy.

Yes! Girls are wonderful, but so different! Maddie is a daddy's girl. NOt to mention she is so high needs and strong willed. They are just two completely different children. We didn't want a boy. We wanted another girl. Now the thought of not ever having Ethan makes me sad. My mom kept telling me that I needed a boy. What in the world did she mean? I soon found out exactly what she meant. I looked at her after we came home from the hospital and we said (at the exact same time) "Boys are just so special" And they are.

I know how you feel I remember the feeling I had the first time I held Alyssa all I could say was how beautiful she was, I remember lifting her little hospital hat up to see if she had hair and lol... OHHH the love of a mother for a baby is sooo amazing! He is a beautiful boy Amiee!
