I love my Inlaws

She told dh that he can take have her white leather couches.....her nice dining room table,all her end tables...washer and dryer, a queen size bed,,,(Ive been wanting a smaller bed cause mine is a king size waterbed replacement mattress,,huge) and want more room....Alot of her knick nacks and my husband is so exited cause they have a bunch of paintings by a man I think my husband said named Beket and they are worth over a 100 grand and his mom has one in the family...shes giving it to us. Now I have to store the washer and dryer , but I need to find someone to buy my mattress...lol...Now I come from a family that barely scraped by in life and this lady is just too good to be true,,but she is,,,she even paid for our wedding. She paid for his brothers wedding also and furnished their whole apartment and bought their two kids their winter wardrobes and they got evicted and left everything in the apartment, so now she only gives stuff to us....And she is so nice on top of that, I could honestly not ask for a better mother in law...not because shes loaded, but because she genuenly nice....And just the other day I was talking about getting new furniture. All we have to do is rent a uhaul and go get the stuff out of her storage when we want it...have to save for that.

mckayleesmom replied: Did I mention that she is the reason I can talk to you guys...We had a crappy laptop and she ordered a computer to be delivered...well they delivered 2 and she called the company and told them that they accidentally sent too...the person on the other end told her they had the orders that way,,but she only paid for 1,,,she gave it to us...Its a Sony like 17 inch computer.....His brother is going to be so mad when he finds all this out...but he has done too many crappy things to her in the past...He even wanted this computer and tried to talk her into giving it to him when she already promised it to us. Dh is also her favorite too..

His brother sounds a little spoiled. Good for her for not giving in to him anymore! I'm happy for you.

Kaitlin'smom replied: its great when you have inlaws you get along with. I love mine also, they may do things at times that make me go huh, but over all they are great. And since my DH is an only child he is spoiled and now so is Kaitlin, well she will be. I just hope I can teach her thing I wish I had learned. I am happy for you that you are getting things you want/need!

it's so nice to meet people like that (genuinely nice) and to have them be your in-laws is such a huge extra plus you are very lucky to have them in your lives!!!

mckayleesmom replied: They are all really nice. I think its because when my dh was younger she was a single mom with making ends meet. She kind of married into money in a way and the man passed away. Then she remarried again and he owned alot of car dealerships and he sold them all and they went into horse racing and they have been doing really good. Dh's brother and younger sister are spoiled, but dh was already in the army before she married the man who passed. And when he died she was completely broke for a while and dh gave her like 15 grand to pay bills and take care of his brother and sister,,it was his enlistment bonus. He has never asked for it back,,and wouldn't,,,but she does help us alot. She is really cool though,,shes kind of young at heart...When we were in Las Vegas getting married (his mom and stepdad got married the same day as us)...we couldn't keep up with them,,,they have too much energy...I like visiting them cause they are really spontaneous and do off the wall stuff,,,its kind of nice to not think about responsibilities and stuff every once in a while...KWIM...I helped my mom pay rent at 14..so its kind of nice to have someone to go to if you have a problem. She is just a fun person...she use to test her hair dye on my husbands head to see if she liked the color before applying it to herself..if that gives you an insight to how she is...I think shes so good to us because we don't ask for anything from her really..Accassionally we have borrowed money,,but only on emergency situations..

A&A'smommy replied: WOW great MIL!!! My mother-in-law has been going nuts buying stuff for us. But i think that is just because she doesnt want us to spend the money, so jeremiah will be able to pay of his school loans. But anyways im glad your MIL is so wonderful!
