I have NEVER purchased a baby swing new, we have always had used. It arrived today and I couldn't help but put it together!! We got the Starlight Papasan Cradle swing, it plugs in and runs on batteries!!

VERY CUTE!!

What was your favorite item for baby??

mckayleesmom replied: I personally loved the Boppy Pillow....that thing was a lifesaver after a c-section and just a lifesaver in general.....I didn't have one with Mckaylee, but it was a huge help after Russell. I loved sitting in my glide rocker and laying him accross it to nurse...it helped alot. I also took it to the hospital to use and was glad i did.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: I love baby stuff too! It's so exciting to get it all set up. With Andrew the swing was definitely my life saver. I don't know what I would have done without that thing. With Allie my favorite thing was just the bouncy seat - my hand me down kick and play from my sister. She loved sitting in it so much so that's where I usually put her.

MommyToAshley replied: Congrats on the new swing. Most babies love the swing. Ashley wasn't a huge fan of the swing... not sure why. She did like the exersaucer but once she was to the point she could move around she didn't want anything but her freedom. LOL.

I know the BABY will be my favorite item .. but I was talking more in the way of accesories!! HAHA!!

* With Isaia we didn't purchase anything and then he came early and we had NOTHING so we figure this way we will be set even if the baby does come early

I say--there's nothing wrong with being prepared, even if it is a little early. Buying baby stuff is so much fun. I love love LOVE buying all the cute little bitty baby clothes. Other than that, my favorite accessory would be the swing. My parents bought us one when Dylan was born and then Peyton got to use it too. They both loved it!

My favourite item with both babies was the swing, it was a LIFE SAVIOUR!
