I just want to cry

MoonMama wrote: Braedin was up late and I have know idea why. Then we had a water pipe break gushing water ALL over my kitchen and had to have it taken care of right away and clean it all up. So had DH and his friend who is a plumber in my house in the middle of the night fixing it. I HATE this house! growl.gif bawling.gif I have had very little sleep all week maybe 2 hours a night, its been one thing or another. Its now 5:30am and I have had zero sleep! Braedin will be up in a half hour and DH has a meeting. How am I going to get through today? bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif

I hope you get some sleep soon!!

Teesa®© replied: Aww, hon, I feel for you!! hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif As a chronic insomniac, I know what it's like to have to run on little or no sleep. I was ecstatic this year because both of mine are in school.

How long is DH's meeting? Will he be gone long? Can you stay up till he comes back home? Call a friend or family member?

Sometimes, not always, I can "talk" my children into having naps. I just look at them as say, "Oh, you look really tired. I think after breakfast [or lunch] you should have a nap." or "Wow! You're eyes are a little red, did you not sleep good last night? You should have a little nap later." or something along those lines. Then we'll go "camping". I'll throw one of their mattresses on the floor or a bunch of blankets and pretend we're off camping. We lay down for a while and I usually get to doze off a few times. When we wake up again, we have a picnic. In the summer, we'll just go out on the porch, in the winter, we have one in the living room.

I hope you get some sleep soon hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: aww that sucks. hug.gifhug.gif I hope you can get some rest today!

bawoodsmall replied: hug.gif Yeah Aiden didnt sleep for crap either. Then we took him to bed with us and that was horrible. He tossed and turned and seemed to not get comfy. Then I had to get up for work. Fun. I hope you got some rest for the both of us today. I hope he does better tonight. Who knows...

I hope your pipes got fixed. That would not be fun dealing with that in the mid of the night. At least you have a plumber friend on the bright side.

Teesa®© replied: I'm thinking she either has someone over so she can sleep or she's got him to nap because I haven't seen her on since this morn. I sure hope she's sleeping.

Sam & Abby's Mom replied: aw, man - there's nothing worse than sleep deprivation. I hate it. Good luck - hopefully you can nap when he does. Hang in there!

Sam & Abby's Mom replied:
LMAO !

MoonMama replied: I'm here. wavey.gif rolling_smile.gif I was able to nap for a couple of hours with Brae....then I have just been trying to get stuff done around the house all day. rolleyes.gif

Teesa®© replied: Glad you got some sleep smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif
