I just found out the sex of the baby

Yeah, it's step-daughter.

I don't ever refer to her as SD as I've raised her for 16 of her 18 years of life (her biological mother walked out when she was 2). I just use it on here to clarify our family dynamics.

I called over there and spoke to the BF mother. She confirmed that the u/s results were clearly a girl (that is what the technician said).
I am kind of sad, because about a month ago, my sd asked if I would go with her to her first u/s appointment.

My sd wasn't there when I called so I asked her to let my sd know that I called and ask her to call me back either tonight or tomorrow. So, we'll see.

This afternoon, I was sitting around thinking about her ALOT and wondering if she had gotten the U/S yet. So, I sent her an email asking if she had one yet.... and if they found out the sex of the baby.

A couple hours later is when Ash called and told me that the BF told her it was a girl and that she had the U/S this afternoon...... isn't that strange??

JAYMESMOM replied: It is a mother's intuition. I am not sure of all the dynamics you are going thru but it sounds like you have a happy/sad situation. Prayers that things get setteled and the birth of your granddaughter can be a happy/happy situation.


BTW--girls are so much fun to shop for.
