I have to ask... - What does this mean??

Boys r us replied: Yeah it is old southern! LOL I nor any of my friends my age use it, unless we're trying to be funny. But I hear lots of older people say it. Basically it's like saying I swear... I swanny!

My2Beauties replied: Yeah it basically mean I sware to God, I've heard it a few times!

I never say it either but I have said some other silly stuff..lol

Us southern people have never be accused of making a lot of sense..but we have some good traditions.
