I have an awful cold
ediep wrote: Oh man, its just getting worse..... I have a stuffy/runy nose, coughting, sore throat, achy body, sneezing, and a post nasal drip that is so digusting.it makes me gag and sometimes vomit.
I called the OB and the nurse told me I can take Robitussin, and Tylenol Sinus, so I think I have to go back out today (in the pouring rain) to get these meds or else I'll never get to rest tnight
DH called me and told me that a woman in his office told him to buy me Airborne. Its a tablet that you dissolve in water and it is no med, just herbal and antioxidents. HAs anyone tried it?
gr33n3y3z replied: I hope you feel better and it sounds like you got it good
As for airborne Ed checked it out and he told me not to buy it bc it wont work lol he said its just a bunch of vit. and he also said its got lots of Vit.C in it so save your money and buy a bottle of Vit.C
ashtonsmama replied: I have a super sore throat and stuffy/runny nose too, I'm right there with ya Edie. And I've used Airborne, and it does help me, Ryan takes it too, take it as quickly as possible after you start to feel sick, it really makes a difference. And I know the woman that formulated it (Victoria), so I trust the product.
My2Beauties replied: I'm sorry you don't feel good. I actually came out here to post the same thing. Last Thursday I went to the doctor with a sinus infection and they gave me an antibiotic, well I foudn out Friday I was preggers so stopped taking the meds and just found out today that the antibiotics I'm on are pregnant friendly. I came out here to find out what I could take in the meantime for this terrible cough of mine. Hope you get to feeling better soon - I know how you feel hon, this is no fun!
MyBabeMaddie replied: Being sick when pg is awful! I've heard awesome things about Airborne, but you're supposed to take it at the first sign of a cold like Amanda said! I guess its better late than never!
moped replied: Everytime anyone goes to the States, i get them to get me Airborne - I LOVE it! I have 6 boxes right beside me to take home tonight

I'm sorry you're feeling down and out..I've had several colds during the course of this pg and I usually TRY to just suffer through it as long as I can..but when I did take something I took Actifed and it worked sooo well!
I hope the tylenol works wonders for you hun!!!!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Awwww shucks. I hope you feel better soon.
Airborne did nothing for me.
MichaelsMommy replied: Sorry your sick.. I think Airborne is more of a preventative - like your DH would take it to say away from what you have.. not sure if it helps after your already with cold.
