I know I'll feel like an even lazier mom if I feed em sandwiches... but that's what I want to do!!!
I called my mom to see what she was making herself for dinner... but she said she's on a diet...
mamasbigbaby replied: I guess it's sandwiches!
C&K*s Mommie replied: Hey don't be so hard on yourself. You normally feed them well, right? So tomorrow and the rest of the days you can make up for it. You cannot be a supermom preparing nutritious meals all the time. A break is good every now and again.
Bee_Kay replied: When all else fails..... mac -n- cheese!!
gr33n3y3z replied: we walked and got pizza lol
a sandwhich is good nothing wrong with that
Jackie012007 replied: hey, when I was growing up, mom was allowed two lazy days a week because she always made AMAZING meals the other 5... we ate sandwiches all the time! When I got older it was "Fend For Yourself" nights lol... so you go girl, give yourself a break tonight!
MyLuvBugs replied: I say call for a pizza. We've been having several days like the one your having. I just can't stand to be in a hot kitchen. Sandwiches sound good though.
Jamison'smama replied: Well if it makes you feel any better---I worked this morning so DH fed the kids McDonalds for breakfast, they had cereal for lunch (thanks to DH) and for dinner Jama had spaghetti and meatballs (from a can--she loves that stuff) and Jack had Stouffers chicken and noodle bowl (a frozen dinner but hey, it had carrots and peas in it).
LAZY food day for us --but we have an open house we are cleaning for.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: They ended up having pb&j sandwiches... then an applesnack (fruit puree) then some bbq chips...
Bee_Kay replied: Good deal!
Brias3 replied: Unfortunately, I have those "lazy" days a little too often now
Nothing wrong with some PB and J!
ashtonsmama replied: As long as you're not starving them Rocky... Don't stress, they'll survive, kids can handle sandwiches. Moms don't always have to cook! We all need a day off now and again! Or a year, in my case.
