moped replied: Give it a try -- face your fears - Just my thoughts!!!!!

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I am right there with you. I have never liked flying, but since I live on an island in the middle of the ocean I kind of have to. I usually do all right once we are in the air. I would go for it.

mammag replied: I say go for it....you may find you love it. I don't get to fly much but when I do I love it! Of course, I romanticize the whole thing.....taking off to a new destination, flying through the clouds....I'll sit and make up stories in my head about the people around me, where they are going, what's going on in their lives, etc..... then when I'm returning I get the cozy feeling of going home......am I sounding like a real dork right now??? rolleyes.gif

moped replied: I do that too Jeanie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mom21kid2dogs replied: What a perfectly great excuse to "make" yourself do it!! I LOVE wub.gif wub.gif flying~it's so fast! I always think driving to a destination is tedious. Go for it!!

Boys r us replied: Lisa...#1 we all have to face our fears at some point..ya know..may as well get it over with while going to go do something fun and exciting...#2 I'm a firm believer that EVERYONE HAS to go to Vegas at some point in their life..and for us east coasters..that's one heck of a long drive!!! Flying is AWESOME!!!!!! Your Dr might prescribe you something to chill you out a little...

gr33n3y3z replied:
All of you are right
I will bite the bullet and go for it now that I got the courage up she better not change her mind about Vegas.
If they sell beer on the plane I wont need a pill lol just stink a pic line in me or a funnel line to my mouth emlaugh.gif

MommyToAshley replied: OK, I really need to watch punctuation because I completely read your message wrong. I read it as if it said....

"My friend Melissa across the street wants my Hubby.
And I fly out to Vegas with them bc they are getting married there."

I thought, hmmm, you are more accomodating in that situation then I would be.

Then, I reread the message. blush.gif

Seriously, I think that the fear of flying is worse then flying itself. I bet once you get on that plane and take off, you will be so proud of yourself for facing your fears. The worst part is taking that first step... but you can do it. I have been flying since a baby (I was an army brat) so I don't give it a second thought. But, I am scared to death of heights... I should take some of my own advice, eh?!

I hope you go and have a great time! thumb.gif

A&A'smommy replied: UGH I'm sorry but maybe it would help you face your fear... but to tell you the truth I think I would be pretty scared too wink.gif (((HUGS)))

JAYMESMOM replied: Face your fears and go. If I am a little nervous before a flight I get a drink at the airport bar before I board to help me relax.

You will have fun!!!

aspenblue1 replied: I say go for it. Hope you have a great time.

coasterqueen replied: I say go for it and have a great time too! I was the same way once and nearly squeezed DH's and my FIL's hands off the entire flight. I wanted to drive, they wanted to fly, if I wanted to go they said I had to fly...so I did. They kept me distracted the whole flight playing Rummy which I beat the pants off of both of them. tongue.gif
