I had the scariest thing happen at work - :(
DillsMommy wrote: Last night at work there was a couple eating dinner with their 14 month old girl (Tom actually knows the husband, but I don't think he recognized me) Anyways, everything was fine, they ate dinner then went outside. I thought they were done so I went over to start cleaning the table. As I was walking over the guy comes back in--no big deal. I thought maybe they wanted dessert or something. He sat down and about 30 seconds later the wife comes running in carrying the little girl yelling "someone call 911" The little girl was just laying there not responding. I thought she was choking or something, but I heard someone say she was having a seizure. I freaked out! I called 911 on my cell phone, but they told me an ambulance was already on it's way, that they just received about 10 calls from us. Once the paramedics get there, they do their thing then they all get in the ambulance and leave. By that time the little girl was crying some, but she still didn't look right. Her skin was grayish. Omg you guys. It was so scary. I can't handle stuff like that. Especially when it's little kids/babies.

sparkys2boys replied: OH no, hope the little girl is ok It must have been terrible to have to witness that
Danalana replied: Yikes, that would scare me too! I hope she's ok!
Calimama replied: I would have been shaking the whole night. I hope she's okay. Her poor parents.
A&A'smommy replied: omg that is scary!! I hope she is ok
DillsMommy replied: I was shaking the whole night, it was horrible. It's just crazy how something can happen so fast. Just 20 mins before that, she was eating macaroni and cheese and everything was fine.
jacobsmama replied: Jacob has had 3 febrile seizures when he was younger. It is VERY scarey..I am sorry you had to see that..
I hope that little girl is ok
HuskerMom replied: That would be so scary! I hope she's ok!
grapfruit replied: Whoa crazy!
Why'd they go outside and come back in though??
DillsMommy replied: I'm not sure....
boyohboyohboy replied: maybe they were going to try to take her to the hosp themselves and she got worse.. i wonder if she has a history of seizures? do you think you will ever know what happened to her?
DillsMommy replied: I thought maybe they went outside to get a clean diaper, make a fresh bottle, etc...I really have no idea.
Courtney was their server that night (she's also friends with the wife) So last night at work I asked Courtney if she had heard anything from them and she said that--yes she did call them the next morning. The little girl is fine and she's never done that before. She did have a seizure the whole way to the hospital which is about 20 mins. away though. She also said that the reason she had the seizure was because the little girl (i wish I knew her name) had a temperature of 105. But, I don't see how the parents wouldn't notice her having such a high fever, unless they just didn't realize it was that bad. Her little cheeks were rosy, so maybe she was teething and that caused her to run the fever.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Awww that is scary! It's a good thing that they hadn't gone far. I'm sure that the little girl will be okay!
