I got my nose pierced!

Anyways, Friday I woke up and decided that was the day I was going to add a new hole to my face. I never told anyone, not even my DH. At first, he wasn't too impressed, but after he got over the initial shock, he admitted that I look pretty *cool* and *hip*.

I have to say how much I LOVE it! And it didn't hurt a bit!

P.S. What are your tatoos? Just curious? Did that hurt? Can't you tell I am such a baby and want to know if everything hurts.

I got them done about 4 years ago. I got the sun first, then 2 weeks later got the butterfly. LOL!

Kaitlin'smom replied: I always wanted to pierce my eyebrow.......but have not. I do have a tatoo, It did not hurt. It really depends on where you get a tatoo on weither it hurts or not.......anyplace with less fat or musle is more likely to hurt.............just my opinion.

madaise replied: I had my nose pierced.. but I had a hard time getting it to heal up. So I let it close up. I'd like to get it done again. I got my belly button pierced last Oct.... but same deal. I'm going to get it redone in a few weeks. I took my oldest dd (12) in a couple weeks ago to get hers done and hers is looking great (so far!). The guy who did it was the one that did mine.. he said he'd redo it free.. just to bring in the ring.

Imo, it's not "where" the tattoo is done. It's the person's threshhold that determines whether they hurt or not. All of mine hurt. But it wasn't a bad kind of hurt. I did notice that certain colors hurt worse and found out that, for example, yellow hurts because they need to go a little deeper to get the color in good.

My nose piercing hurt when I had it done. when I did it myself, it wasn't as bad. But then, the needle *I* used, compared to the one *they* used is a big difference in size, Belly button wasn't too bad. Hurt worse when Teigen would poke and pull on it.... probaby why I had a hard time getting it to heal,huh?

Kaitlin'smom replied: True, If you have a low tolerence for pain then it might hurt no mater where its done. I was just saying its less likly to hurt in a more fatty place. I just really depends on the person though. I really expected it to hurt so I was supprised when it did not just felt weird, but not a s weird as having a c-section...............boy that felt weird!

MommyToAshley replied: hmmm. Let me think about it... that's a big step for a whimp like me. LOL. If I ever did get a tatoo, it would be something very small above my ankle, like a rose or a heart.

But, you're right, I should be able to handle anything after having a 8.98 lb baby.

I had my cartilage done too, and it didn't hurt at all, I didn't even know the lady finished it. I have had my belly botton pierced 2 times, the first one the guy messed up and left a huge scar and I got it done again once the first one healed up,,then i found out Macky was on her way and so I took it out...good thing I did too cause my stretch marks turned the belly button scar into the perfect playboy bunny portrait...No Im not kidding. Oh and I have a tattoo of Jimminy cricket on the right side of my back by my shoulder.. I want another one though.

amynicole21 replied: 2 tatoos, an eyebrow piercing and 5 holes in my ears here I haven't worn anything in my eyebrow for ages, but the hole is still perfectly healed. I need to get my tat touched up, though. The colors are beginning to fade (had them done 10 years ago!! Eeek)

She's 44 yearsz old (not that there's anything wroing with that.....) and her birthday is coming up in September (10th), so I'd like to take her. She was too chicken to go this summer, she's asked me to give here a kick in the butt about it - she wants to get one of those celtic bands around her upper arm.

mckayleesmom replied: LoL,,,my mom is almost 50 and she still only has her ears pierced. She thinks that its just crazy. But she would take us to get them done and the tattoo guys would always try to talk her into one. One even told her she should pierce her nipple,,,she about had a heart attack. My oldest brother and my younger sister both have their tongues pierced, and my mom always told my sister no about it, that she had to wait to turn 18 and then she could do whatever she wanted with her body,( Really she was hoping she would change her mind in that time ). Well one day my sister borrowed 20 dollars from my mom and my mom wanted to know what for, she wouldn't tell her, well she came back with the tongue ring. So not only did my mom not approve of it, but she paid for it. LOL . I have to give my sister props on that one.

Kaitlin'smom replied: ahh back to this topic, which reminds me I need to go have my tatoo updated, and I want another one. I will probably go in september and have it updated, then a new one. I will have to post a pic of the current one and then the updated version!

oh and my dad who is ummm a lot older want a tatoo, humm wonder if he still wants one...
